Always gotta be haters that are mad because they lack the courage to step out of their comfort zone. Mad because Anthony gets free gear not realizing how much time and effort goes into to these videos. He works harder than all the people complaining about what he may or may have not paid for!
Anthony does a great job at his job. Entertaining, informative videos. Fun engagement with his interactions. There is zero proof of any sort that what he was selling was sold to him with the transaction being testing and coverage on youtube. But at the end of the day. If it is his property, regardless by the means. He has the right to do with it as he pleases. That is consumerism. Can you imagine the turn out had he made a video the day before getting ready for it? I may not be happy with Canon right now. But I can't hate Anthony for that at all.
It _feels_ like influencers are more gear-driven than creativity / art driven. I'm sure that behind the scenes, you're still invested in the art of photography. But damn, your channels all focus on the gear way too much. No wonder you've amassed such a collection.
Canon Used to be the most widely accessible option for lens selection until they went with their proprietary RF mount and went years without allowing any third parties to make lenses that were even mildly affordable
@@travisminneapolis I agree the lack of RF vendors annoying…. But there are some affordable lens options. Selection is mild but the cheap primes are very very good quality
The EF lineup is still available, and used EF lenses are cheaper than ever and still dropping in price. And they are arguably a bit more compatible (just slightly) than Sigma lenses for the EF mount. While not the most ideal option, EF lenses on RF bodies is still an affordable entry into the hobby.
Even tho I’m completely broke I would have loved to attend this event. I saw so many creators in your video that I watch. They’re all awesome. I can’t wait to get my first camera and join all of you.

Its a heavily used vehicle, paid $10k for it, needs about $2.5k of work to get fully functional (it's in usable as-is condition though), bought during the summer. Along with several other unexpected things that happened during the summer and a little before that, my budget was already tight with this vehicle purchase.
I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at kislux and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i. e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.
Hey Anthony, I’ve been watching your videos for a while(very long time😅), and I love how much passion you put into your craft. Photography and videography have always been a dream for me, but I’ve never had the chance to get started because I don’t have a camera and the money(I’m only 15 without a job because of school)to afford a second hand camera . Seeing you give away your gear really gives me hope! If you choose me, I promise to make the most of it and keep the creativity alive, just like you inspire us to do. All I hope for is any camera that I can start off of. I have been a really big admirer for this but I never could, but if I did have an opportunity I’m sure that I can step up till I make it a full time passion. I have been stuck waiting and hoping for a sale on the Canon EOS R7 this weekend but it has not happened. So I decided to look at what was on sale on other brands. This had me look at the Sony A7iii. Then I looked at lenses. Then I went back and looked at the Canon R6 mk II with comparison to the Sony A7IV. Now looking at lenses and I am suddenly crushed at the lack of RF full frame options at beginner prices. Buying into an over $1000 lens is a big investment for a zoom lens. Tons of stuff I wish I could afford. This is all in comparison from cost difference from the R7 with the new Sigma 18 to 50 f2.8 aps-c against costs with the other camera's. The closest in value I could find was full frame 28 to 70 also from Sigma for the Sony at 2.8 for about $200 more. If anyone has advice and suggestions or feedback. I'd love to hear about it.
I was recently in the same boat as you. I had the r7 in my cart and I ended up going with the Sony a7iv. Brother if you buy cheap you buy twice and unfortunately this applies to cameras more now than ever. There’s so many cheaper options but if it was easy to go that route you would’ve bought it already. Don’t worry about getting the best bang for your buck and worry about getting what you need. It is an investment in your future and you don’t want to have to buy twice. Canon r7 is a fantastic camera but the list of short comings is endless. For a main camera I have no doubt you can make that work but should you actually make it work or should you get something that just works? You got this!

The hardest thing for me right now is going to be learning to better understand exposure in practice. I don't have the budget to allow me to get the a7iv as much as I see it being better. I have to accept that in the future I will be buying a different body and lens. But I don't think it will be a Canon when I do. The Sony Camera lens I'd get would cost $700 for a Sigma brand lens. But the same full frame lens on the RF line is $2700 for 28-70 at f2.8. Canon does not want their customers to have a choice. Canon is afraid of competition. Without competition there isn't any reason to innovate. If the A7III didn't have that awful menu system, and a tilt screen. Instead of a fully articulating screen. I would purchase that. The IBIS, weather sealing, and the new Sigma lens at 18-50 at f2.8 puts me with the R7 for what I can afford. There is no telling what my future will allow. If I am fortunate, I will find a better means to support a future upgrade. It has taken a better part of a year to save up for this purchase. There will always be a better camera with better features. But if I just keep waiting, I won't develop my skills. Thank you again!

I've not personally tested it, since I don't use DaVinci, but MA does have a filter for DaVinci assets on their website. I believe there are plugins as well!

My voluntary association really needs a good tridpod or a 50 mm, 85 mm, or 135 mm for Sony E Mount, to take astrophotos, so it must have some lightcollecting capabilities. Mainly.... the video features on the R5 are better, but also for landscapes having a bit more resolution can make a big difference. It all really depends what you need!

We have completely switched over to DaVinci Resolve so I don't know if your sponsor supports DaVinci or not.
