I have the same Riva sponsons and grate for my 2018 Wake Pro. The sponsons, all the way down, slipped out significantly worse that stock in medium chop, over several day runs. It was fun though, but I never have glass or light chop so giving those up. The grate does load better so keeping it.
Nice video. Fun! I have my Riva Sponsons on Hole#4 (moved up from three and noticed a big difference in turning, handling and tracking right away.) I also have the Intake Grate. My top speed on perfectly flat-water last week on Narragansett Bay (Rhode Island) was 63.7 mph. Garmin GPS recorded. Have never broke 65. GTX 230/2021. That trip out to Catalina sounds awesome. Good luck.
Thanks for sharing! My first ride on my own sponsons. Wow! RIVA intake grate is next. I installed the RIVA catch can and RIVA throttle control, and IBR control levers too. Thanks for chiming in! Good old Rhode Island. I’m originally from New Hampshire.
On a very very light chop lake Poulard in LA, my boat easily pulled 68 and I have video of bumping 69 up and down. Well that was 60 hrs ago anyway, now in Texas so not sure, can’t find the same conditions
Hey there! Welcome to the channel! Absolutely love, my GTX 230! I also upgraded from a 2020 GTI -170 Thank you and enjoy your new ride! By the way, what state are you in?
HeatWave Glasses. I have had several. The pair in this video you watched are my favorite. Here’s a link to the first time I have these sunglasses. My Sea-Doo GTX-230 IT JUST HAPPENED! I had to unveil the NEW RIDDING GASSES! th-cam.com/video/XcfL1GjwJpw/w-d-xo.html
Middle setting. (Neutral) not yet tried other settings. Soon and very soon there will be testing done with the sponsons in the highest and the lowest settings. If you’ve been following my channel for sometime, my friend PJ and I have the same ski and the same sponsons. So we will be doing some comparisons with the different settings.
whats interesting is the 2024 yamaha GP1900R HO non-supercharged ski hits 65 mph stock. The yamaha FX 1.9 HO hits 63 mph stock. Both yamaha's are 200hp the seadoo is supercharged with 230hp. Hmmmmmm 🤔 th-cam.com/video/i3M9jK3QLTk/w-d-xo.html

YES!
yes with the ST3 hull on the GTX is a deeper “V” shape. Not all Sea-Doos have the deep “V” hull.

Curious about the intake grate, do you have a video on that yet?
Yes. The link to that video is in the description.
Easy install.
On my PWC, that’s what I get in eco mode.
What are your glasses/goggles, please?

You got one?
@@TheOceansideGuy Yes 325 RXTX! You need one.
@@docwells4747 oh gosh....I don't know. Ha, ha!
my fish pro runs smother in corners
Nice! What year is your fish pro?
@@TheOceansideGuy 2021 put whip lights on it
Cool!
The 230 seems disappointing. I would think it would do much better than that. Not worth much more that the 170.
Not bad. I enjoy it. The 300 will hit 70MPH
But I’m not after tons of speed. But enjoy the 230 for sure.
Get back to us in a few months. I say 6months will fold in half
Not sure what you mean?
slow.. my ski doing 91 with a stage 1 yamaha GP 1800 supercharged
Wow! Very cool
Omg wow 🙄 you and about 10,000 other skis that are out there. Trust when it’s said your Yamaha ain’t special.
Right
@DennisSwanson517 it's alright till the clutch fails prone on the gp1800r

Yes. That is interesting
@@TheOceansideGuy
How do you like your seadoo?
I like my Sea-Doo a lot. So much fun.
@@TheOceansideGuy
I will say the seadoo's ride real smooth, even on chop.
