SeaDoo calls for drown mode. Drown mode disables the fuel and the spark. But, thank you for the advice.

Yes. You don’t have to use the rear support, but it does add the extra brace and support.

@ would the cooler still fit with this design??? I’m very interested in purchasing one when I take trips out to offshore canyons and want to take 3 five gallon gas tanks but of course I still need my cooler

Thank you! When I first purchased the Sea-Doo in orange, wasn’t particularly crazy about the orange, but there weren’t too many other color choices. So overtime, I figured out that I could actually change out colors, stickers, panels with other models of Sea-Doo. So I did. And it worked out. Thank you you, I like the outcome. I have had several people ask me if my ski was a limited special edition. Ha ha.

Ok, thanks for a answer, i have taken the engine and jet from a 2008 Sea-Doo and put in a 1959 Ockelbo Moboat, so i was surprised when i see this oil-change, i have done some test-drive with the boat in September-24 maybe ten times so i won’t be changing the oil for a while! Waiting for summer -25 in Sweden🇸🇪

Sounds easy. I gotta say. Im a Sea Doo guy for sure.

You can simply add three quarts to the Sea Doo, start it and fill to the mid point on the stick. Its much easier than having to mop up all the oil from the bilge with that stupid horizontal filter. The cartridge filter on the Sea Doo is superior to the Yamaha design. I work on both every day.

You are so right! I still haven’t bought a flexible magnet yet. And thankfully, we have not dropped anything in the bottom of the belly. However, I did buy some extra nuts and washers just in case.

Hey there! Great question. So, at the end of the day, the gel pad is the gel pad. Either side doesn’t matter. Now that I go back and look at my video it would probably be easier to take off the foam/white pad first as that is a bit tougher to peel off then take off the clear plastic square piece. Again, either way, it will work out. I do remember, on either side of the gel pad, it’s exactly the same. You gotta let me know how your install goes. Good question. But I gotta say I have never heard of such a thing from anyone after these years of changing our own oil and or spark plugs. I really would not think that would void a warranty. I wish I had an exact answer for you. I would think of it to be just like a vehicle if you change your own oil that should not void your vehicle warranty.

@ thanks - I asked as a friend of mine had their warranty claim denied for their Hyundai SUV because they did not have record of professional oil changes. I Imagine that could happen with a boat as well. I would definitely ask if I were to buy a boat.
