Would try the Sweet Potato Vine *Pulse Black* (because my regular black ones are doing spectacular this year) and the *Bronze* (looks fun to try and mix x match with flowers). Would try *Caliloco Starfire Blue,* *Eyecatcher Pink* and *Eyecatcher Purple.* Would try *Glamouflage Petunia* because the variegated leaf could be a substitute for using variegated vinca vine as the 'spiller'
A big yes to the Sunfinity Double Yellow Sunflower! Gorgeous! I'm looking next year for plants to put in my shady side hanging baskets that won't leave a mess on my porch. I need color but am so tired of dealing with the messes from my fushias, begonias and impatiens. Fantastic plants in this trial garden! Not sure how they kept them so beautiful. My plants have had too much rain and are giving up for the year. Zone 4.
You could try lobelia and foliage plants like colorful coleus or ferns. I’ve found tuberous begonias and New Guinea impatiens to be a little less messy than their cousins. Crossandra, acalypha firetails, Bacopa, Bridal Veil, dichondra, spikes, trailing Mezoo, and hypoestes can handle lower light. They’re not supposed to do well in low light, but my sister puts geraniums and scaevola on the north side of her house and they do great.
Corey, whatever happened to the Bonfire Elite Salvia? I believe it is the tallest of the red salvias. I always bought it every year, and now I just can’t find it. It is approximately 36 inches tall, and it was always my favorite.
Thanks for another great tour Corey. I took note of the Sunfiniti double yellow sunflower and Sweet Georgia bronze sweet potato vine. I also noted to look at ivy varieties. I think they would be a great addition to my containers.
I like the Sweet Georgia and the Sidekick Bronze. That sunflower is a flower powerhouse. Ivies are great in containers; subverte sometimes they can be a little slow to start, but once they take off they’re beautiful.

The sedum…were they annuals?
Those varieties were annuals. It’s possible some of them were a little lower zone, but they’re being marketed as annuals.
