Walrus Meraki / Strymon Brig / UA starlight comparison (Real analog vs emulated delays)

I compare some delays using the Take 5 from Sequential as my synth of choice. I had to re-upload, the original video had a panning issue on the audio as I forgot to hard pan the left channel.

The first sound is great on the Brig. Pads on the Meraki sound great!

Man i never even took the time to look at brig. That thing sounds amazing on synths. Meraki i am still debating as i don’t see it blowing the competition out of the water for its price but it is super clean which i prefer 90 percent of the time. Dam that brig sounded good and wide

Cool, I've been hoping for exactly this video. Very tempted to get a Meraki, but then maybe I'd be better off just re-buying the Starlight? I guess I'll find out

A new Oberheim synth based on the Take 5 was leaked recently…the TEO-5. Might be worth looking into when it’s announced.

So I was hung up about buying an ob6 or a trigon 6. I plan on getting the trigon now and waiting for the teo.

Have you tried Sequential's Pro 2? I think you may be very surprised.

Not really interested in another paraphonic synth, already have 4 of them and 2 I really like. The monopoly and the Odyssey. I however am looking at getting a Trigon 6 soon but it’s very expensive.
