- Super Mario Odyssey is only two weeks old, but there are already tons of Super Mario Odyssey glitches found! In this video we are going to take a look at my favorite Super Mario Odyssey glitches and the coolest Super Mario Odyssey speedrunning skips found so far!

Eyyy Ceave gaming gaming! Thanks for uploading my "underwater" glitch. I've tried alot of stuff relating that swim in air glitch but have had no luck replicating it... It was a alot of fun while it lasted. Even after collecting a power moon I could still swim in the air after the cut scene. It was like playing the game in no clip mode XD. I got a feeling this glitch needs to be triggered by the camera position. All I remember is looking up at the big glass in the sea then it happened... Good luck all glitch hunters! The reward will be big for those who find out how to make this glitch work...
I should point out that if anyone replicates it, hold the screenshot button right away to get an idea of replicating it. Maybe it'll give an idea? But yeah, I saw someone get it in seaside and get to the painting platform.

If you want any more footage of the glitch, I have around 20 minutes of it in the lake kingdom that I recorded a few days ago here (th-cam.com/video/m76eQrQk9JQ/w-d-xo.html), although I'll go ahead and warn you that my commentary is that of a mental patient.
I still didn't get footage of what happened to cause it but what I did was go into the changing room from the back entrance of Mario's hatship. When I exited the hatship and went towards the water, it was glitched. I'm not sure how what I did lines up with what you, bigtimemullen, stoneclash, or any of the other glitch-experiencers did, but the glitch is super interesting.
Why did you post this Nintendo is going to patch it all
i think swimming in air has something to do with a glitch i found, if you are in 2d and the exit can be jumped out of, if you are half in half out and collide with something in 2d non breakable that isnt there/the same shape in 3d you go flying, i flew way off the map to edge of map and fell to death, but i was not underwater.
do so underwater = possible flying glitch???

Now, you may ask yourself how to beat Thanos.
*Well, it's surprisingly simple!*
I felt so challenged by the Wooded Kingdom early top skip that I couldn't help but try it myself, actually took me a bit more than 2 hours (including the way past the breakable wall section) but man, actually doing it feels so accomplishing :)
You don't need an acorn to get the Talkatoo glitch. You just need to talk to it as a returning cappy hits it frames after. It'll take a second, but it should lock the screen. It should work in any kingdom, but I haven't tried them all

No problem! I'm surprised im the only one who knows this, and I keep having to point it out every glitch video for SMO.
Bonus: If you can make your way to the band room in NDC, the screen will stay at Talkatoo, and it will become dusk. Kinda neat

I found a glitch by accident and it is where if you are in 2 player mode and you throw cappy at a bump in the ground land then shake the controller, sometimes cappy gets thrown underground. This is where player two needs to move around. You can do it basically anywhere there is a small bump on the ground. Please like so that Ceave can see this

I'm going to be playing the game with as few captures as possible (not a speedrun because that's insanity I cannot pull off) just for the fun of it, using tricks found from you and many others. Cleave, you can roll-cancel to get into the pyramid. Its in use in any%. Its known to runners as "IP Clip" - "Inverted Pyramid Clip". And is a rather old glitch by now (and has not been patched)
Touch the wall slightly to the right of the door to slide down into position. Press B to jump, and then ZT, right as the smoke cloud disappears, lay your thumb across the pro controller horizontally to put them in such a position where pressing down will hit A, X, and Y at the same time. It takes precise timing but is a very consistent strategy and works in the current version of the game. If you get it right just slightly to the right of the face's mouth, Mario will sink into the floor slightly and then roll past the stone head through the door.
This move-set is known as a delayed neutral-stick roll cancel and is used to completely ignore wall collision (for thin walls). It is used in any% and wp (World peace) speedruns. Practice it on land first for a while.
Bayleef has a video out instructing how to perform the glitch. He's the current any% WR holder so have a watch when you have some spare time.

Wet FMS in Cascade, OOB in Cascade, IP Clip in Sand, Lake Clip in Lake, Nut Clip in Wooded, Klepto Skip in Lost, a thousand OOB glitches in Metro, Outfit room Clip in Metro, Snow clip in Snow, Release Clip in Snow, Snow Dram in Snow, Fish Clip in Seaside, Turnip Clip in Luncheon, CRC'S, Nut jumps and even more! Holy Fuzzy, that's a lot of stuff.

That wall jump reminds me of getting the power bombs early in Super Metroid - figuring out which brick to aim for with or without the high jump boots
I also found another glitch in luncheon! If you head out the door from the room were you raced the koopa racer then immediately go into snapshot mode (you have to move Mario one step before going into snapshot mode so do so without turning the camera) and then move the camera to were the pirana plants usually are, one of they're heads is just laying on the ground with no neck, while the other one is laying it's neck forward as if it tries to shot a fireball, even though nothing is coming out of its mouth. Btw love your videos!!
I found a useless glitch with Glitchdon! Go to the Forgotten Ilse and bring Glitchdon to one of the ground pound stairs. Put him in the middle, get out of him, ground pound the stairs, and CAPture him again. And now you're in the stairs!

If you throw Cappy above Talkatoo and the talk to him when Cappy is really close when he's returning the same glitch occurs.
Then, if you talk to another character, the game acts like Talkatoo is speaking. The results are hilarious.
So happy that hammer bros brothers and himself get another chance to be in the video :D

I encountered a strange glitch in Bowser's Castle. In the Third Courtyard (Rear) section with the pecky bird, there's Taking Notes moon. In one of my attempts to collect the notes, I accidentally landed on the ground in a way that skewed my angle in such a way that I was almost standing upside-down. I have no idea how I triggered this glitch, nor do I have any evidence of me performing the glitch, but I have a tendency of trying to move while as the bird even when I'm not on the wall (usually ending in tragic results due to me not facing the wall in time). I hope this helps, if you're interested.
EDIT: I managed to trigger it again - it seems to do with the game taking the fastest path towards the direction that is being input, and since I am directly facing the wall, the fastest path would be flipping upside down. This is of course just a theory, but it might be the cause of this.
I found a random glitch in Tostarena while talking to the hint bird, I was able to freely move around the entire world while the camera was stuck by the bird, the music also changed when going to the areas where the music does indeed change and it was funny watching Mario wayyyyyy in the background. I have no idea how it happened though

I found out that you can easily jump past the steps into the lake plaza in the Lake Kingdom. Also in the Sand Kingdom, I saw that Glitchdon doesn't sink in quicksand!

If you take to somebody in the seed and Talkatoo glitch, it re-focuses the screen. (you can do it in the metro kingdom).

I swam aboveground in the Lake Kingdom, after returning to the start point after a Koopa race.
I don't know if there was a specific cause for it. What I did notice is that the original water level was no longer there.
Ceave, a few videos ago, you said that you wouldn't have hammer bros in your videos, and here you are using a pan throwing one in Mario Odyssey glitches.

You can use the out of bounds glitch by standing in the respawn area without glydon (the 1st one)

You made the Gushen OOB glitch so much more complicated! You don't need glitchdon! Just bring the Gushen to the stone rectangle not far from where it spawns, unpossess and ground pound it to kill it, and then stand still in the middle of its spawnpoint. The exact same thing will happen!
I think I'll try implementing that skip in one of my speed runs. I think it can work out
The wooded kingdom one
There is a glitch in the lost kingdom where you take the glide guy and go to the shop. Then you go as close as possible to the entrance and press zl when you can. Then hop up un the glide guy(not capture) and continue going forwards. If done correctly, you will hop very fast

Holy moly that first one is just like sushie glitch from paper mario!
In the cascade Kingdom dinosaur skip, one time I went so far with it that the dinosaur's head got stuck in the boss fight barrier and he stayed there throughout the fight.

Wooded skip took about 3 hours to find. I still plan to find a use for it. If you skip to the final boss it would probably be stupidly useful.

When have Nintendo bothered patching minor glitches in single player games? The infinite item duplication nonsense in BotW is still in there, isn't it? It's not like they haven't patched that game, for performance enhancements, and they might patch the camera lock glitch since that's likely to trigger accidentally, but aside from that? I don't think any of these glitches, nor the ability to catch the Koopa of the roving racers in his T-Pose in snapshot mode under some circumstances (Weirdly meditative. Characters in their T-poses are usually creepy looking, he looks like he's meditating), which is the glitch I knew about before coming to this video, are on their radar as things to worry about patching.
You're probably right. The glitches in 3D World are still there, but take Mario Kart 7's Maka Wuhu glitch, which was patched online to make the online experience more enjoyable.
They might also patch out some ones which can help get better times on the leaderboards.
TheGamingKoopa85 as far as i know they only patch glitches that gives you an advantage or extremely game breaking glitches
Zenaida Alejo an example of this would be the invincible super Mario Maker Glitch when you put a door over spikes

7:31 you can just go to the bottom groundpound-roll to get speed and then mash jump you can mash too fast if you are fast so if you are more comfortable to mash both a and b then do that but i find it easier to only mash b

I actually did the cascade skip (the one that takes you to the boss) on my 2nd save file. On my first save file, i completed the game. But i wanted to complete it without doing darker side. Since its really hard. What im doing is collecting 9999 coins so that i can buy MANY moons from the shop.

Hey Ceave! I found a glitch in MARIO odyssey! Head
Over to the Luncheon kingdom and go through the door next to the loops that you can race, you get to the room were you had to use a lava bubble to light a lantern right? So then capture the lava bubble and light the lantern, but make sure Mario is were the lantern sets on fire, then when the power moon appears then go to "snapshot mode" right when Mario is about to get burned. For one, it looks like Mario just fartet, two when you go out of "snapshot mode" Mario doesn't say " Ayyy ayy ayyy!" like he usually does when he gets burned. Maybe he does this because he was so happy that he was seen farting in snapshot mode that he forgot to say " Ayy ayy ayy!". Who knows? 😆
At least the fork will never know who attacked it. He he he he he he!
(Also, the Talkatoo glitch works using Cappy as well, instead of the nut.)
I found a glitch myself,if you take the dinosaur from the Cascade Kingdom to the Odyssey,you can make it's face go INTO it.
To let you know, the talkatoo glitch can be performed by throwing cappy behind him, then talking right before cappy hits him.

I had the glitch in the water level where I could swim everywhere outside the water. I was streaming when it happened, made a clip of it.
Hey Ceave, don't know if you'll get this, but I got a challenge for you: Luncheon Kingdom: No Captures, and no fighting the Broodals. (In fact, not fighting the Broodals makes a few of the captures not happen.) Just...have a lot of money at hand.
you can enter the pyramid with a seed. you need to throw the seed against the wall in the corner while staning at the wall with your back so that the seed pushes you in the wall
