Cheep Chomps are terrifying. Even now, years after I got this game and saw those things,I still get scared of them.
I would have to agree. I pourposely never visit world 3-1 for that reason.
If they added those enemies to Mario Maker 2, I just know that they will be spammed all over the place in 100 man.
That's why I try to avoid all water levels because I think every level has them

I love this game! This was my first video game and I 100%ed it multiple times. My favorite glitches are the last 2 shown. I had a ton of fun playing around with them

There's actually an area in the desert where you can get 3 lakitu clouds between a quicksand pillar for point farming. I did that years ago. So glad someone finally found out this glitch. I felt so lonely.

This glitch is already patched, Nintendo removed Thwomps, Coins, Mario, and the Editor, so it's sadly no longer possible ;-;
2:37 the reason is that the goomba a needs to be matched with his head while he is looking up so then it has to be in the air

I also know a another glitch on the Mario vs Luigi mode, first chose the frozen level.
This level have a blue koopa, and if you jump on him, he drop the "blue shell power up".
But if you hit him by breaking the block where he is walking, he will not give the "blue shell power up", but a "blue shell items". So you can bring a "blue shell" like a normal shell, -also kill luigi lol- , and there is way to get the "blue shell power up" with it but I don't remember it.
Ps : I finish the full game, I have all stars coins, all hiden exit, and.. what ?! You can just change the background of the down screen of the ds ! No world 9 or orther levels ? To bad, so now I don't collect starts coins...

I think with the duplicated fire bar glitch there must have been a mistake in the code, they probably meant to put: if hide
Show, but the must have (by accident) doubled the command and put on one of the doubles: if hide show
3:44 now it challenges Mario to a dance-off
3:58 you know, being at the top of the food chain is not exactly what it's cracked up to be. people think your evil just for doing your job and trying to stay alive.

I watched the whole video while doing the infinite score trick you showed; and when you asked "how's shell Mario doing? at 4:47 I got really confused for a moment.
There was this one strange glitch I saw a while ago involving toad houses. You know how ending a level with 99, 88, 77, etc. on the timer unlocks a secret toadhouse near the beginning of the map? Well, a few people manipulated the game to make a used toadhouse appear instead of an unused one. However, the level marker didn't register the toadhouse as used, and you could still enter the toadhouse... kind of. For whatever bizarre reason, instead of spawning in an actual toadhouse, the game would get confused and send you to the underground section of level 1-4. The goombas in the level were glitched and looked liked flashing green squares, and upon completing the level the game would freeze, allowing you only to activate the debug menu. (If you haven't heard of the debug menu, the code for activating it is as follows: hold down L+R+A+Left, release, then hold down B+Down, release, then hold down Start+Select. If you don't believe, run NSMB, eject the game card while the DS is still on, then try the code.) I've only seen two videos of this glitch on youtube, but it was so long ago that I don't remember who the videos were by. However, I remember this vividly and can assure you that I'm not making this up. If I find the videos again then I will report them back here.

According to a few people, this can be done with Action Replay. Here's a comment by kidkat3000:
"you need to get one of the mushroom houses that hes going to. then get the action replay and put All levels complete, all mushroom houses all coins and pretty much click all the icons and then when you complete it the mushroom house stays like that..."
Okay these notes have mainly been for me, but for anyone who's curious I've finally managed to pull this off. Here's what you need to do:
1) With Action Replay, enable the Unlock All Levels code
2) Finish a level with 99, 88, 77, etc. on the timer to unlock a secret toadhouse at the beginning of the map
3) stand on the level marker belonging to the toadhouse (but don't enter the toadhouse yet!)
4) Press SELECT to activate the Unlock All Levels cheat. This should glitch the toadhouse's icon on the map.
5) Voila! Enjoy a glitched version of 1-4!
After nearly a decade, I've finally figured out how to get this glitch to work, and boy does it feel good!
When the game is frozem in the ghosthouse, mario can become friends with tge boos. When he grounpounds them they forget how to damage plumbers...
I found the ghosthouse freeze glitch on my own before. When I accidentally landed on the platform's edge and fell before it moved.
You forgot the world 7 tank glitch. All you need to do is damage the moley with only fire from fire flower Mario and when he spins he won't stop :-)
P.S. The only way to stop it is to let him kill you or wait till time runs out.

I remember having glitches when i was a kid
2.Go to 1-2 and get to the checkpoint.You should be in front of a pirahna plant inside a pipe.When the Pirahana Plant goes,go inside the pipe and use the Koopa there to get rid of the blocks [the one under the exit pipe] and get that question block and get the mega mushroom that is in it and destroy all the blocks and kill all the goombas and you will get 2 1-ups and get out of the other exit pipe and then die.You need to do it for a really long time and do the same thing over and over again

If there were a Mario game without glitches...
It would be very disappointing. Most of my childhood up to this point (ten years) has been playing Mario games. My favorite thing to do in these games? GLITCHES. I've always loved the time freeze glitch in the ghost house in this game, and BLJing in 64. I don't know if I would get a Mario game without glitches.
Other people love his videos for the "Hooooray". But they forget the superior phrase..

the platfoem glitch in the ghost house the game thinks you are in the platformer so then all entities freeze because when you get on those platformers the entities will freeze untill the platformer stops on the other side

Fun fact: The gap between Super Mario Land 2 and New Super Mario Bros is the same length of time as the gap between The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. I know that almost no one cares, but I just want to point that out.
