Project Review: Lock N Load Pawl/Timing Tools - West Desert USA Take 2

Some of you may remember my challenges with trying to get timing tools for the Hornady Lock N Load to work correctly. I decided not to pursue one vendor's tools offerings due to their limited support offerings and what I would need to purchase additionally in order to make them work on my LnL. I don't run 9mm on my LnL, only 45 ACP. I also didn't feel like spending an additional $100+ on top of a $55 tool to get the timing right on my $400 AP.
Discovered West Desert USA's tool that accomplished the same thing (results wise, but with a different implementation) at a fraction of the cost of the other vendor's tools. So for $30 I was in business, or so I thought. Turns out that some LnL bushings have an ID of .817 while other have .825. The original WD timing insert did not fit my LnL bushing, so back they went. The great news is the vendor now offers .817 sized inserts that fit my LnL bushings.
Product arrived recently and this video walks you through my firsthand experiences with using the product. In short, for $30 this is a WINNER. Great value that is priced right for what it does and takes ALL the guess work out of adjusting either pawl. No more 1/8-1/16 micro adjustments wondering if things will work. These tools let you know right away.
