It doesn't matter what conversations took place before the show, that needed to happen. It was hilarious. Everett grabbing him and roughing him around like the little mouthy shit he was, lmao. Reminded me of a junior high gym teacher losing his patience with some wise ass nerd kid who won't shut up. I don't get how anyone thought the lame "talk the smack" shtick was cool in any way.

I have actually met Jim Rome and Jim Everett but not together. I met Everett at a store while he was shopping and I met Jim Rome at a baseball game. They were both very cordial and nice to me when I met them. I hope one day they will sit down and have an interview again.
I hope they post the whole marathon in it's entirety I'm sure all us diehards will go through it. We get the showww!

Skip isnt even in the same breath personality wise. jim is a natural critic to me what makes skip effective is arguing. Even if their ridiculous which they are at times. jim rome is unique in that he didnt need a partner or someone to bounce his logic off of. he did it solo.

exactly. I've been following his show on and off for 20 years and can't remember him ever being interviewed about anything other than Horse Racing. Certainly nothing regarding his radio career or the Everett incident.

Rome is such a legend. He was one of the 1st guys I listened to in sports radio. The XR4TI crew, JT The Brick, The smackoffs ! It was plain and simple have a take and dont suck

Went to one at Qualcomm stadium before a Padre game vs the Rockies. It was out in the bleacher seats in right field. Brought my son, we had a great time.
