Wild Plum Dipping Sauce

When life gives you plums! 👌🏻😋🌿
Plums are loading up the hedgerows here in Berkshire at the moment. This is a great way to use them up. I like to use plums with different levels of ripeness to give it some real piquancy 👌🏻😋
Recipe: 📕
500g plums
1 cinnamon stick
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 thumb sized piece ginger
1 tsp 5 spice
1 tsp Korean chilli flakes
100g dark soft brown sugar
100ml red wine vinegar, not rice vinegar 🤓
50ml dark soy sauce
A really good twist of black pepper
