Bless you Dr for getting such a strong message across to us all. I had LFT in February 2020 and haven’t seen a Dr since! It really is infuriating here in England that we can’t receive the treatment we’re entitled to!! A nurse is phoning me on Wednesday to ask how I’m doing, she did the same last March and said she’d get me Pulmonary Rehab at the local hospital. She’s making another phone appointment on Wednesday (9th Nov) to see how I’m going and no doubt she’ll make the same ‘promise’ then and nothing will happen - again! If it wasn’t for TH-cam and dear folk like you, I honestly don’t know where I’d be. Very many thanks

@@pulmonaryrehab I was so thrilled to see you again today! I finally saw a Dr last year and asked her to refer me for Pulmonary Rehab lessons, 8 weeks later I heard from a PR Nurse and she made an appointment for a coarse of PR lessons twice a week for 6 weeks! The coarse taught me everything about COPD, I knew nothing at all until then!! It really empowered me from then on. I’ve done PR lessons every day with the help of TH-cam and tips from my PR lessons.
Bless you Dr, you’re the perfect Dr for COPD patients, so very kind, and ‘proud of us all’.
      Much appreciation to you.

my O2 sats go down into the 70's when i exert myself even just a little. None of the pulmonologists ive seen know why its happening to me. As it is, I am struggling to function at all.
i weighed no more than 135lbs my whole life until 2017 when I was weaned off my long acting pain medicine and promptly gained 60lbs in 5 months. I was a dancer my whole life, i taught aerobics in gyms up untl my late 30's. I snow skied and love roller blading. I was active my whole life until I could no longer be. Ive told all my doctors this. the believe I must be drug seeking. So, I dont know what to do. My quality of life is near zero. I cant even bathe every day de to weakness, lack of energy and pain.. A lot from cushings and the diabetes i developed because of it. I feel hopeless.

I'm going to check the videos on this channel but I do have a question, I already did a pulmonary rehab last year while I stayed there and was on morphine for my back and the pulmonogist wants me to do another which is 3 times a week over 6 weeks which I know will be impossible. She doesn't seem to realise that she is not the only doctor I have to listen to.
I have IBS and the stress alone is a problem, I finally got the appointment with the endocrinologist and he said only gentle stretching and not to lift more than 5 pounds not to go out in the winter, so don't fall or hurt yourself, I had 11 compression fractures and several broken ribs . I also have to be careful because I'm on blood thinners. I'm using a rolling walker because of the breathing and the pain in my back. Any idea how to make her hear me? Or should I try to change specialist? I don't want to be snapping bones just to make her happy. Im waiting for approval for an injection once a month for a year for the osteoporosis. I broke some just getting clothes out of the dryer, I still can't vacuum but I used the clothesline today for the first time in two years 😅
