Real talk, that sounds perfect for a post-tRoS Rey adventure! Could even have a couple of different storylines, maybe one for Finn, one for Poe and one for Rey. Sounds like a lot of fun!
Literally a new Kotor is what everyone wants, being able to be a jedi or a sith, bounty hunter or han solo type character, imagine the old Republic online game except its a single player game and depending on what class you choose to began as you start with different stories and campaigns ultimately being able to be your OWN desired character in a star wars universe with great graphics.
I think an open world Star Wars game would be better with a Make Your Own Character rather then a set story which Fallen Order 2 most certainly continue Kals story.
What they also could make is a gta style open world game in a city-like planet like coruscant like star wars 1313 wouldve been. You could be a bounty hunter or a scoundral and the empire could be the police. They wouldnt attack you unless you provoke wanted levels. I think this would be better for general audiences than a skyrim/fallout style complex star wars game since we alread had kotor and while its great i couldnt really get into it its just so tediously complex and time consuming.
The image makes me think of Reys potential new Jedi Order. Id love a game around Rey rebuilding the Jedi order and overcoming the mistakes made from the past. More specifically Lukes mistakes with his Jedi Order.

That's so totally unlike Luke, and what set him apart from Obi-Wan and Yoda in the first place, who wanted him to confront Vader and Sidious and kill them both. Rey's been angry in every confrontation in this movie, but she's never succumbed to the Dark Side. She jumps into it without hesitation, and walks out without it having any effect on her.

If I remember right, the worlds will apparently be much larger in scale than in previous LEGO games, what’s more we’ll be able to fly from planet to planet with space battle sequences too. It all sounds ambitious for a LEGO game, and has gotten me excited. I just wish we can get a gameplay reveal sometime soon.

A huge, open ended, open world Star Wars RPG has been my dream for decades. The KOTOR series is the best we’ve gotten so far, but even those are a bit more linear than I’d like and the MMO doesn’t do a whole lot for me. Give me a Witcher 3/Skyrim/Breath of the Wild hybrid Star Wars game and I will never leave my couch again.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens has some aspects of what you’re describing (albeit much smaller). It’s got open world of 4 planets + the Falcon, which is pretty neat

You have a main storyline with a main quest (for example rescue someone ) and also a ton of other sidequests, which you can do by freely roaming around the galaxy. Bounty hunting, taking different jobs. Also infinite customization. You could be a mandalorian, or a droid, or a yoda, or a wookie or a normal person. Please ea, if you do this both sides will benefit
We won’t get this from EA. I don’t consider fallen order an open world game, it was four medium/large labyrinthine maps. And EA is just going to make more of that until their contract expires. I’m still waiting for the same thing as you’re describing. Hopefully we’ll get it some day dude.

The closest I’ve seen to this is Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s basically exactly the game he’s describing, right down to the droid sidekick. It just doesn’t have so many side quests because the main character is mostly just trying not to get killed by the Empire or any bounty hunters or dangerous exotic creatures while he goes on his epic quest.
I want a Red Dead Redemption style game centered around a long gunslinger type of bounty hunter. There is so much potential in that. A story centric game with the ability to explore an open world.

My dream game would be set after rise of Skywalker, you play as Rey, completing side quest against the first order and traveling to these little semi-open worlds as you slowly fight to the core worlds. As the story goes on Rey gathers and recruits force sensitives to rebuild the Jedi order. First convincing Finn, then they guy from force collector, (haven’t read the book yet) the children from tehar, until you reach lothal, and enter the world between worlds and Ben solo returns! The final area would be a siege of coruscant, the people of coruscant would be reluctant to help until a holovid is broadcast planet wide of all of the force sensitives wearing robes, Finn Rey Ben and force collector with lightsabers and the tehar kids with cute little training sabers like those in the old republic mmo. One thing I thought was lame was that no one seemed to know or care about the return of the Jedi, but now it’s broadcast live in the heart of the Star Wars galaxy! After credits I’d show one or a few sith eternal ships hiding In wild space, and we close in one a woman with red hair at the bridge. A bunch of first order ships arrive and the remaining moffs meet up with her. “Strange, I thought you considered us superstitious fanatics. How amusing that you now beg us for salvation. I suppose it’s acceptable. Just one thing, my name’s Mara jade, try to contain your backstabbing impulivites else we further rip ourselves apart.”
I could see this taking place in a time around the old republic era where the was a lot more Jedi and sith. You would be able to chose and customize your species at the start. And some of the factions available are Jedi, Sith, bounty hunter or part of the crime syndicate. Your character would be force sensitive but you can chose to follow through on that or not
My god, the more you talk about this, the more I want it. I had an idea for a miniseries where Rey travels the galaxy helping people out, stopping villains, and looking into the jedi/sith past, and if they did smth like that for a game, I would definitely buy it especially if it had that Zen-like feel of something like BoTW
The things they could do with a game centered around exploration, maybe playing as a smuggler going from world to world maybe even some combat where you’re fighting against a rival gang... that could be fun. Or even a cyberpunk game set in the seedy underbelly of Coruscant fighting it out with rival gangs to control turf would be nice, modding up your character with cool cybernetic limbs... I would love it if they let us choose our species not always having to play as a human would be a nice change of pace. Perhaps even getting to see how the worlds view different species through gang dynamics, if some species looked down on different ones and had rivalries going on because of that. It could really flush out lore.
I want a new completely open world Star Wars game where you design your own character, get to choose wether to be a Jedi, Sith, smuggler, or bounty hunter. You can travel from planet to planet, fight in giant space/ground battles, duel with lightsabers, do challenges for the Hutts, race pod racers, tame creatures, and build/design weapons and droids. Also multiplayer options would be cool, and if especially love it if it took place during the clone wars.
So basically revive Star Wars: Galaxies, but without the era-lock (and Jedi ruining the game). It'd probably be a big hit, with open world games being a recent trend, and one that people actually like.
I'd really love to have another Star Wars fighting game, BUT done in the style of a 2D fighting game, in the vein of Samurai Shodown for example. Slow paced game where say a Jedi and Sith are dueling, and you have to keep your distance/spacing, someone chucks out lighting the other defends themselves before going in for the strike. And that strike deals HUGE damage, much like an actual sword (in context of SS). And much like SamSho, the roster is heavily varied from Jedi, Sith, Smugglers and Bounty Hunters who use myriad of Weapons (Boba Fett and his staff-like weapon for example). That would be a cool game to see, niche as it is.
Star Wars Game that I’m working on Star Wars is a massive universe, with alot to explore. In this game you get to experience the life of a bounty hunter or a smuggler. You won’t be able to play as Jedi or Sith, because it will only focus on the criminal environment in the Star Wars universe. Home menu and game plot: When you launch the game, you will se a home menu, with the space as the background. You press start, and you will get asked if you want to play the story mode, or an MMORPG online experience. If you press on “story mode”, you will see the text: “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”, that’s in the beginning of every Star Wars movie. You will then play the single player campaign which is based during The Age of The Republic. But as you progress in the game, it will make a time jump to The Age of The Galactic Empire. Multiplayer Intro: If you chose to play Online, the text: “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”, would appear. Music will start, and another text would appear which says: “The galaxy has always been filled with crime”, then it disappears and new text appears and says: “For some it is peaceful life and but others consider it a struggle. Those who are fighting for their lives, but now got their lives opportunity.” You’ll see a prison shuttle on its way to Corusant. Inside the shuttle you stand. You can only see your shoes. The camera will move to your face, and then your surroundings will disappear. You then get to create your own character, with a lot of options. Once you have finished making your character the shuttle will start to land at a prison. (Work in progress, story not done yet) After 3 years, you get released from the prison. You will be able to free roam a bit on Corusant. But then your mini-map will give you a location for a mission. Once you have reached your destination, you will bump into a Twi'lek, Tarlson Vale, who is a bounty hunter. (Story in progress). He thinks you look similar to another guy he had met before but he’s not sure. He asks you to join his guild. It’s not everyone who get’s invited to Vale’s guild. He wants you to start a new life. He will give you a little money, but you would have to pay him back, as you earn more credits. First he will give you a puck, with a name on, and you are going to go after him. Ones you have captured the bounty dead or alive, and gave it to Tarlson, Tarlsen would recommend you to buy a ship, but you wont be able to buy a fast and good one, with your lack of credits. You’ll first have to borrow a car by Tarlson, to fly to a starship shop. After that Tarlson would recommend you to do a job in the outer rim. Then you’re on your own, in the massive star wars universe. Work is still in progress
I'd like a Mandalorian game like The Witcher 3. Roam from town to town as Din Jarrin accepting bounties and missions. Got to a bunch of planets, space battles, gunfights. Have a story centred around the criminal underworld in a post empire galaxy.
Couldn't possibly agree more. An open world Star Wars game with less emphasis on war and more on fun adventures would be amazing. Star Wars games with serious/important stories are great, but at this point, a light-hearted adventure sounds refreshing as hell.

Why not battlefront if you think it’s still pay to win or something you obviously haven’t played in 2 years. It has immersive gameplay and quality graphics so I can’t really think of a better place to play as Rey
I would love this idea but as a bounty hunter between the rise of the empire and A New Hope. There’s so much potential maybe you could even find a lightsaber from the remains of a Jedi (since order 66 would have only been a couple years back)
I really would like a GTA Online style star wars game with multiple planets to visit, like Tatooine, Coruscant and space stations, Heists and jobs you can complete with your friends and earn credits to buy ships/speeder/weapons/outfits/gear etc. You could buy a small dingy apartment in the Coruscant underworld and from their work your way up to buying an luxury one at the top of one of the many skyscrapers with a landing pad for your Firespray-class ship!

I'd kill for a game like this! Maybe you could have multiple planets like you could start out in The Outer Rim,on a small colony planet that few people have heard of while contrasted by the bustling cities of The Core and Expansion Region.
I honestly would like them to release something for it just to have it out there, I was originally thinking just the script in book form with some illustrations but a comic adaptation does sound a lot better
Honestly, seeing what Rey does after the sequel trilogy in the form of a video game sounds like a really cool idea. More adventures with a fun character while adding more depth and new side characters. I could see that alone getting a big audience in the same way that the Clone Wars is for the prequel trilogy.
I would love to play a game about Rey creating a new force order (maybe the name can be Skywalker?) But Episode 9 ending was like, I don't know, but I just felt sad for that being about Jedi again. I wanted something new. No more Sith and Jedi, just the balance.

Map concept for this: Get a RDR2 sized map and cut it into 4. Now imagine each slice of map is a location on 4 different planets. If you want to travel you head to a personal ship or maybe even a public transport and select your destination. Kinda like Jedi Fallen Order but bigger maps on each planet. But nothing too hefty
The plot could be that you're a *insert profession here* that has crashed on a semi-primitive world on a galactic scale (think of pre-industrial revolution Europe and needs to quest and explore to get the resources and help (hands_ needed to repair the ship to be able to fly away. But the player gets drawn into the regional conflicts after building relationships with locals and working up their reputation. A good plot twist could be that some local lord has gone mad apparently, but it is because they have been in contact with a Sith holocron for many years and it turns out that said lord is force sensitive?
The adventure of a young traveller roaming throughout the outer edges of civilized space. Meeting locals, fighting monsters, and stopping the return of an undead Sith witch. That kind of game would be awesome!
No man's sky flying from planet to planet, plus breath of the wild exploration, and Jedi fallen order combat. With a story based around exploring and searching with some combat in space and on the ground
It would be way cool if you played just as Rey. Like how Zelda is just played as Link. But it would also be cool to have choices to play as other existing characters who would have varying strengths and weaknesses. The thing is, there's no reason they can't do this. All we know is Rey went to Tattooine to lay the Skywalkers to rest. There's nothing to suggest she stayed there. This scene could still have happened afterwards. They could do a Jedi Academy style game set after TROS where you're one of Rey's students. I can see that bringing a load of extras to the Sequel era.

It's not exactly what you're describing, but the new Lego SW game will have free camera open-world exploration on at least 20 planets, and they've specifically cited Breath of the Wild as inspiration for this new approach :)
Picture it. Sicily. 1925. (HGHMM) I mean... Picture it. A long time ago. In a galaxy far far away. An open world game where you can explore the galaxy (every planet ever seen on screen throughout the saga). You travel around performing helping those along the way everywhere you go as side quests. 3 separate campaigns with a different layout for the galaxy. One set in the prequel era. One set in the Original Trilogy era, and one set in the sequel era. In each campaign you play as a custom character. You can choose your race, and your class. Are you a bounty hunter? Are you a Jedi? Are you a Trandoshan? A human? A Droid? Or... dare I say it a Gungan? Whatever you choose affects where you start in your campaign, and how characters in the world around you treat you (this would also vary depending on the era). Every choice you make affects the story as you go, and sets up one of the many possible endings. There is the main quest, and then there are the side quests. Since you are a new character, the main quest would not be directly tied to the adventures of the characters and adventures we know and love. You may cross paths from time to time, but you are telling your own story. The idea is basically inspired by Dragon Age Origins (funny considering Bioware had previously made Knights of the Old Republic), but on a much larger scale. Maybe the choices you make in one campaign affect the other campaigns as well, kind of like how choices you make in Mass Effect, affects Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. I don't know, this was just an idea I had after seeing your idea in your video. We probably would never see a project like this one because it might be a bit too ambitious, but one can stare at Tatooine's double suns and dream.

First convincing Finn, then they guy from force collector, (haven’t read the book yet) the children from tehar, until you reach lothal, and enter the world between worlds and Ben solo returns! The final area would be a siege of coruscant, the people of coruscant would be reluctant to help until a holovid is broadcast planet wide of all of the force sensitives wearing robes, Finn Rey Ben and force collector with lightsabers and the tehar kids with cute little training sabers like those in the old republic mmo. One thing I thought was lame was that no one seemed to know or care about the return of the Jedi, but now it’s broadcast live in the heart of the Star Wars galaxy!
After credits I’d show one or a few sith eternal ships hiding In wild space, and we close in one a woman with red hair at the bridge. A bunch of first order ships arrive and the remaining moffs meet up with her.

I could see this taking place in a time around the old republic era where the was a lot more Jedi and sith. You would be able to chose and customize your species at the start. And some of the factions available are Jedi, Sith, bounty hunter or part of the crime syndicate. Your character would be force sensitive but you can chose to follow through on that or not
My god, the more you talk about this, the more I want it. I had an idea for a miniseries where Rey travels the galaxy helping people out, stopping villains, and looking into the jedi/sith past, and if they did smth like that for a game, I would definitely buy it especially if it had that Zen-like feel of something like BoTW
The things they could do with a game centered around exploration, maybe playing as a smuggler going from world to world maybe even some combat where you’re fighting against a rival gang... that could be fun.
Or even a cyberpunk game set in the seedy underbelly of Coruscant fighting it out with rival gangs to control turf would be nice, modding up your character with cool cybernetic limbs... I would love it if they let us choose our species not always having to play as a human would be a nice change of pace. Perhaps even getting to see how the worlds view different species through gang dynamics, if some species looked down on different ones and had rivalries going on because of that. It could really flush out lore.

I want a new completely open world Star Wars game where you design your own character, get to choose wether to be a Jedi, Sith, smuggler, or bounty hunter. You can travel from planet to planet, fight in giant space/ground battles, duel with lightsabers, do challenges for the Hutts, race pod racers, tame creatures, and build/design weapons and droids. Also multiplayer options would be cool, and if especially love it if it took place during the clone wars.
So basically revive Star Wars: Galaxies, but without the era-lock (and Jedi ruining the game).
It'd probably be a big hit, with open world games being a recent trend, and one that people actually like.

I'd really love to have another Star Wars fighting game, BUT done in the style of a 2D fighting game, in the vein of Samurai Shodown for example. Slow paced game where say a Jedi and Sith are dueling, and you have to keep your distance/spacing, someone chucks out lighting the other defends themselves before going in for the strike. And that strike deals HUGE damage, much like an actual sword (in context of SS). And much like SamSho, the roster is heavily varied from Jedi, Sith, Smugglers and Bounty Hunters who use myriad of Weapons (Boba Fett and his staff-like weapon for example).
That would be a cool game to see, niche as it is.

Star Wars Game that I’m working on
Star Wars is a massive universe, with alot to explore. In this game you get to experience the life of a bounty hunter or a smuggler. You won’t be able to play as Jedi or Sith, because it will only focus on the criminal environment in the Star Wars universe.
Home menu and game plot:
When you launch the game, you will se a home menu, with the space as the background. You press start, and you will get asked if you want to play the story mode, or an MMORPG online experience. If you press on “story mode”, you will see the text: “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”, that’s in the beginning of every Star Wars movie. You will then play the single player campaign which is based during The Age of The Republic. But as you progress in the game, it will make a time jump to The Age of The Galactic Empire.
Multiplayer Intro:
If you chose to play Online, the text: “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”, would appear. Music will start, and another text would appear which says: “The galaxy has always been filled with crime”, then it disappears and new text appears and says: “For some it is peaceful life and but others consider it a struggle. Those who are fighting for their lives, but now got their lives opportunity.”
You’ll see a prison shuttle on its way to Corusant. Inside the shuttle you stand. You can only see your shoes. The camera will move to your face, and then your surroundings will disappear. You then get to create your own character, with a lot of options. Once you have finished making your character the shuttle will start to land at a prison. (Work in progress, story not done yet)
After 3 years, you get released from the prison. You will be able to free roam a bit on Corusant. But then your mini-map will give you a location for a mission. Once you have reached your destination, you will bump into a Twi'lek, Tarlson Vale, who is a bounty hunter. (Story in progress). He thinks you look similar to another guy he had met before but he’s not sure. He asks you to join his guild. It’s not everyone who get’s invited to Vale’s guild. He wants you to start a new life. He will give you a little money, but you would have to pay him back, as you earn more credits. First he will give you a puck, with a name on, and you are going to go after him. Ones you have captured the bounty dead or alive, and gave it to Tarlson, Tarlsen would recommend you to buy a ship, but you wont be able to buy a fast and good one, with your lack of credits. You’ll first have to borrow a car by Tarlson, to fly to a starship shop. After that Tarlson would recommend you to do a job in the outer rim. Then you’re on your own, in the massive star wars universe.

I'd like a Mandalorian game like The Witcher 3. Roam from town to town as Din Jarrin accepting bounties and missions. Got to a bunch of planets, space battles, gunfights. Have a story centred around the criminal underworld in a post empire galaxy.

Couldn't possibly agree more. An open world Star Wars game with less emphasis on war and more on fun adventures would be amazing. Star Wars games with serious/important stories are great, but at this point, a light-hearted adventure sounds refreshing as hell.

Why not battlefront if you think it’s still pay to win or something you obviously haven’t played in 2 years. It has immersive gameplay and quality graphics so I can’t really think of a better place to play as Rey

I would love this idea but as a bounty hunter between the rise of the empire and A New Hope. There’s so much potential maybe you could even find a lightsaber from the remains of a Jedi (since order 66 would have only been a couple years back)
I really would like a GTA Online style star wars game with multiple planets to visit, like Tatooine, Coruscant and space stations, Heists and jobs you can complete with your friends and earn credits to buy ships/speeder/weapons/outfits/gear etc. You could buy a small dingy apartment in the Coruscant underworld and from their work your way up to buying an luxury one at the top of one of the many skyscrapers with a landing pad for your Firespray-class ship!
That's why i loved SWG (corbantis Pre CU), go where i want to go, do what i want to do, fly any ship i like.

I'd kill for a game like this! Maybe you could have multiple planets like you could start out in The Outer Rim,on a small colony planet that few people have heard of while contrasted by the bustling cities of The Core and Expansion Region.

Honestly, seeing what Rey does after the sequel trilogy in the form of a video game sounds like a really cool idea. More adventures with a fun character while adding more depth and new side characters. I could see that alone getting a big audience in the same way that the Clone Wars is for the prequel trilogy.
And when you die ingame the screen reads "You lose the Star Wars"

Map concept for this: Get a RDR2 sized map and cut it into 4. Now imagine each slice of map is a location on 4 different planets. If you want to travel you head to a personal ship or maybe even a public transport and select your destination. Kinda like Jedi Fallen Order but bigger maps on each planet. But nothing too hefty
The plot could be that you're a *insert profession here* that has crashed on a semi-primitive world on a galactic scale (think of pre-industrial revolution Europe and needs to quest and explore to get the resources and help (hands_ needed to repair the ship to be able to fly away. But the player gets drawn into the regional conflicts after building relationships with locals and working up their reputation.
A good plot twist could be that some local lord has gone mad apparently, but it is because they have been in contact with a Sith holocron for many years and it turns out that said lord is force sensitive?
It kind of made me think of a modern Kotor
The adventure of a young traveller roaming throughout the outer edges of civilized space. Meeting locals, fighting monsters, and stopping the return of an undead Sith witch.

It would be way cool if you played just as Rey. Like how Zelda is just played as Link. But it would also be cool to have choices to play as other existing characters who would have varying strengths and weaknesses. The people you interact with would change slightly based on who you chose. Idk. I’m with ya. It would be sick to have a droid following you around too.
I want a story driven free roam rpg where i have the freedom to choose my own path, and upgrade my ship, my character, companions etc. I would also love a serious clone wars game where i either play as a clone or play as a jedi commanding clones, since republic commando was so good. Honestly just give me a 501st campaign with the narrator like in bf2.
Hopefully Dice and Disney consider making the sequel trilogy better, with a story driven open world game set in that time, titling it Duel of the Fates

Dude, YES! Funny, I had just finished watching a video on Zelda lol. I'd love to see a truly open-world, Zelda-style Star Wars adventure game, where we can collect items to conquer dungeons, open new paths, and become the Hero of Time....I mean, the Hero of the Galaxy!
The thing is, there's no reason they can't do this. All we know is Rey went to Tattooine to lay the Skywalkers to rest. There's nothing to suggest she stayed there. This scene could still have happened afterwards. They could do a Jedi Academy style game set after TROS where you're one of Rey's students. I can see that bringing a load of extras to the Sequel era.

It's not exactly what you're describing, but the new Lego SW game will have free camera open-world exploration on at least 20 planets, and they've specifically cited Breath of the Wild as inspiration for this new approach :)

Picture it. A long time ago. In a galaxy far far away.
An open world game where you can explore the galaxy (every planet ever seen on screen throughout the saga). You travel around performing helping those along the way everywhere you go as side quests. 3 separate campaigns with a different layout for the galaxy. One set in the prequel era. One set in the Original Trilogy era, and one set in the sequel era. In each campaign you play as a custom character. You can choose your race, and your class. Are you a bounty hunter? Are you a Jedi? Are you a Trandoshan? A human? A Droid? Or... dare I say it a Gungan? Whatever you choose affects where you start in your campaign, and how characters in the world around you treat you (this would also vary depending on the era). Every choice you make affects the story as you go, and sets up one of the many possible endings. There is the main quest, and then there are the side quests. Since you are a new character, the main quest would not be directly tied to the adventures of the characters and adventures we know and love. You may cross paths from time to time, but you are telling your own story. The idea is basically inspired by Dragon Age Origins (funny considering Bioware had previously made Knights of the Old Republic), but on a much larger scale. Maybe the choices you make in one campaign affect the other campaigns as well, kind of like how choices you make in Mass Effect, affects Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. I don't know, this was just an idea I had after seeing your idea in your video. We probably would never see a project like this one because it might be a bit too ambitious, but one can stare at Tatooine's double suns and dream.
