Hi, guys! Just so you know, the dancing figure with the flute you referred to as Australian, is actually Kokopelli a figure from Southwestern Native American heritage. I lived it Tucson, AZ for 7 years and he was everywhere!
Was coming to say the same thing. I love Kokopelli! I’m in Utah and he is here as well.
I'm back in PA now but lived in AZ a while ago. Kokopelli is on my living room wall.
Letting everyone know right now, this is thrifting in California too. I'm still able to be a reseller by going to yard sales, flea markets and my thrift shop discounts/coupons (though a bit rare there), but yes, everything is priced like that here too. Savers, Goodwill, local thrift shops, you name it. The location rents are high and min wages are $15-$17, not counting also sales tax that we pay, they really do try to get as much money as they can from their stuff.
I made it in the video! It was really nice meeting you both. Hope you had fun at the event.
Yeah great to meet you! We had a great time
Crazy how they price things as if they paid for it 🤦🏻♂️
Go figure
Same here
I live in North Florida. They increased the price 2 times last year alone....rarely gotto goodwill now. Have to head to thrift stores that are holes in the wall
My 2 main locations its all about whos doing the prices. Ive mentioned many times the two types of people and how to move the merch. Sometimes i get lucky other times... not so much.
With free staff and often subsidised rent etc 😮
Criminal !!!
CFL Goodwills gouge like crazy! You have to be patient, have a good eye and be in the right place at the right time. The struggle is REAL!! Glad y'all had fun while you were here! 🙏✌️
Welcome to Florida Thrift Store shopping. 90% of things are way over priced and nothing is a set price per category. Most thrift stores look things up and price them accordingly. Especially Goodwills and other for profit stores. You’re way better off hitting garage sales for good deals. Regardless, have fun in Florida while you’re here!
Bet they go listed and not sold to boot 🤦🏻♂️
Live in SFLA and it's true. Stores are barren here.
Wow, those Goodwill prices are ridiculous. I live in Chicago and our prices for plush are $1-$4.99. I got a brand new Squishmallow with tags from there for $4.99 and sold it for $159 plus shipping. Also got a crystal bowl for $2.49 and took and took an offer for $200. Glad you all were able to find something.
I used to live near Chicago and I miss those prices. This goodwill is now my closest goodwill and it sucksssssss. I was shocked when I moved here how ridiculous prices are.
Damn what squishmallow was that? Crazy good deal!
Welcome to Goodwill shopping in most of the country. They're regionally run, so I'd prepare for the quality of yours to nosedive when management changes at some point in the future.
You"ll will end up seeing most of overpriced items at the bins soon! Goodwill is completely out of their minds.
Yup, I dig things with 20$ price tags on them all the time. Even got an armani c jacket that had a tag for 68...I'm hoping to get 68 lol
I always enjoy how you guys ideantify all the plushes, action figures, funko pops by charcter names. I have never heard of hardly any of them unless they are vintage (like me obviously...lol). Love you both and Mose!!! ❤
In central NY, we don't have very many Goodwill stores. I have to drive into Syracuse to get to one and they're usually filled with broken junk unfortunately. We have other thrift stores though, like Salvation Army, Rescue Mission and individually owned ones. My favorite thing is that a lot of churches in my area have thrift stores, ours included. I know ours gives a lot of stuff away for free when a family has a house fire or emergency of some kind. That's the kind of heart and soul that Goodwill stores lack.
I am shocked Ithaca does not have much to offer. Albany has some great finds.
@@steven1811 Albany does have great thrift stores! I spent many summers at my grandparents house in Latham and my aunt knew where to shop. I was a teenager the last time I went shopping with my aunt so I don't remember a lot, just that we had so much fun. It sucks getting old!
I was a part-time reseller that sourced pretty much exclusively in North and East Orlando. There is a lot of stuff that is head scratchingly high prices, but good things are out there! You just have to stay with it!
That vintage ornament you said looked like a science model can sell for decent money on it's own probably around $10-12. I would also google image the one with the camel and the one with the sea creatures. They could be something worthwhile to sell separately. Some of the thrift stores I go to, sell big boxes of miscellaneous ornaments for like $5 and I sort them out and lot them in gallon bags, bubble wrapping whatever needs it, and just sell them that way. Always a good profit in them. Good luck!
I've sold those for decent money. Apparently they were kits you bought then put together back in the 70's.
I didn't know that they were from kits. I know the more detailed they are, the more money they sell for, I'm always on the lookout! lol @@jeffeidson2526
I love that Wild Wild West t shirt. It was a tv show that was on in the 70’s. I used to watch it all the time. Actually have a poster of Robert Conrad hanging in my garage from a birthday party someone threw for me about 10 years ago. How cool!!!
I LOVE the little Hayley wave at the end! We see you beautiful girl! Well, dang. My condolences to Floridian resellers. Those thrift store prices are nuts. I watch RalliRoots a lot as well and I'm always like maybe it's just their area that's so ridiculously high but, nope. Goodwill is really giving a thorough jamming to it's Flo Rida residents. Prices have increased here in the greater Cleveland area but NOTHING even remotely as insane as Florida. That state is just wild lol. Love the traveling videos. It's cool to see what's going on in other necks of the woods? Neck of the woodses? lol Love you so much!!
Hi Josh & Haley! In my opinion and I live in the Northeast the Goodwill stores are very disappointing lately... I buy bags of yarn and I can order on sale online yarn new with its content attached for less than goodwill yarn.
Can't wait to see the flea market one. Yes, I'm from central Florida and the Goodwills are crazy unless they are having a sale. Thanks for showing all that to us. I didn't realize there was a Goodwill bins store around there.
Gotta love it when thrift stores price things way to high. But no matter how high they get, there will always be an opportunity somewhere to make a profit!
Some of those prices are crazy and that stuff rhat doesn't sell ends up at the bins anyway just doesn't make any sense.. Love the Hairy Tomato's T Shirt 🤣🤣👍🇦🇺🦘
Looks like a good time had by all at the Seminar/Meetup. Great that you were able to get out and golf with your friends and to be joined by Jon & Ashley! Hope they bought you all lunch getting their cart out of the ditch🫣😳⛳️ Seriously the prices in the Fl Goodwills off the charts! Hoping all’s well with Kim and her son. All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
The figure on the bag isn't Australian. It's Native American.
Kokopelli is depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who is venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. He is also a trickster god and represents the spirit of music.
I lived in Orlando in 1975, loved the weather, you couldn't pay me to live there now. Love your video, have fun.😊
Love the Hayley wave at the end! Excited for the rest of the FL trip series!
That bag of mini Harry Potter funko came out of an advent calendar. I have those lol
Welcome to our world in California. I just took a part time job because all our thrifts pull anything for selling online and leaving the crap in the stores over priced.
Yay for a new video! Glad to see y’all having fun Goodwill hopping 🙂. Hanna Anderson is a good brand. I’m pretty sure they’re known for being organic.
Josh and Hayley! Thanks for taking us along! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work! Mose new good inspector !!!
Now you can see why we have a hard time thrifting in this area I love the bins or go to smaller town around Orlando I love to watch you and Haley
That Aladdin Hoodie is from the Broadway show in New York. I think that's the only place to get it so it might be a rare piece.
I know right
Welcome to California! Whooops! You are in Florida! The prices are similar to those in Cali! Glad you shared had a great trip!❤
It looked like you were golfing at Shades of Green. The wildlife there is always incredible...deer, turkeys, bobcats, alligators, peacocks...always see awesome things there. Love it there and we are heading there this weekend!! Great video as usual!!
The Central Florida Goodwills are off the chain when it comes to pricing! And the bins are so different than your bins. Lots of rules!😳😳
The worst prices I’ve found flying to different thrift stores around the country were in Chicago actually. Surprised me. Looks like Florida lives up to the hype though haha
People don't know high thrift prices until they visit "The Village Discount Outlet" stores in Chicago 😆. The Walls are filled with $100+ Tees.
I know right
@@ReadySetResell haha yes! That’s the one I filmed at and was shocked to see those prices!
18:50 Hanna Andersson Brand is really good. We like the small kiddo jammies by them. Another great video.
How did I know yall where in Florida?! I shop a store about an hourish north of orlando and it is way over priced too. I talked to the previous manager of my store (the guy in charge before the price hike) and he said the regional people had just told them to start charging more. He left shortly after that, and the store became packed right with the price hikes. People just don't buy like they used to. I go in occasionally just to look and I never see the regulars that were there before. I'm waiting for them to realize its over priced and I can shop again. I used to go 4 days a week and spend a couple hundred per trip. It was a great place to source.
I can't believe your hitting my old stores. I used to live in Orlando when I worked for Disney and used to hit those exact Thrift stores weekly. I found TONS of great items to sell on eBay back in the day. Lots of great memories of these places.
Prices here in Oregon can be insane. I felt lucky when I found a jacket for work for $10 when everything else was $25. Only reason it was so cheap is because it was unbranded.
I'm in Bend, Or and it's disgusting! I won't go into Goodwills here. I have never seen prices so high in my life for used items. Most other thrift stores here are high as well.
Wow, thought it was bad in Spokane with the dynamic range for coats between 5.99 - 9.99 depending on the brand/item, but $25 across the board? wow.
Florida has the most ridiculously high prices. but, always full of Disney & Universal items lol - also! Castaway Cay is pronounced Castaway "Key" :D Nice finds. Hope y'all are havin' fun in a decently cool Florida!
Love the Hairy's Tomatoes shirt! lol
Crazy prices, but not too different to my local Goodwills. Except hats, they're $1.99 here.
The three little guys on the bag, from the bins are Kokopelli. A Kokopelli is Native American fertility God, mostly from tribes in the Southwest. You see alot of them around the Vegas area.
Hanna Andersson sells consistently for me. I found a Disney Hanna Andersson dress in really good condition. It took about 5 months to sell. I was actually surprised it didnt sell sooner since it was a collaboration, but I was happy with the price I got (about $18 plus shipping).
Our thrifts are better for sure!! Loved the golf scenes! You made a great putt Josh! The deer was beautiful!
Hello there you two.. it was really awesome seeing you both thrifting in Florida. I love shopping at "The Community Thrift" myself. Too bad you weren't having a meet up in Orlando. That would have been nice 😊. I'm from the area. Yes you guys, some pf the Goodwill and thrift stores in Orlando and the surrounding areas are a bit pricey, unfortunately. I've enjoyed being a subscriber viewing and sharing your videos. So keep them coming. Safe travels to you both. Prayer to you as well.
"GO GATORS "!
Martie W. From Florida
And I'm in Canada so the exchange on top of that! That is freaking nutso! WOW
Maybe the goodwill bins are better because higher end items don’t get bought at their high store prices
When my daughter lived in Orlando, going to full sale university, we used to go down to the Salvation Army not too far from her apartment and we used to really get some goodbyes there. We even got her living room, furniture and rug there. You should check it out while you’re in Orlando.
6:28 he called the Phoenix from Harry Potter a fox lol😂😂, i had to replay to make sure i heard him right. Love your videos, just had to comment on it.
Thanking my stars that Georgia hasn’t lost their minds on thrift prices. Everything is still pretty standard and I shop with my mom on 25% off senior day and hit Salvation Army on their discount day - makes a huge difference in COG.
Good Well & Savers are now upping their prices, because they are looking things up on eBay and easy….and using the price in their system for pricing
The inside weaving on the little rocker is called caning

Soo glad you guys had a good time while you were here 🤗
The "New Girl" reference was awesome! Mic Mouse!
Super great video. Love the inspector Mose.
Hanna Anderson is upscale have bought items for grandchildren.
Florida is pricey!😮
i'm going to save this video .. to watch this evening .. when i go home from my grandparents. i just wanted to say GOD bless you Josh and Hayley!! much love!

That’s how my goodwill prices are in PA, i usually only source clothes there on sundays where that color of the week tags are 99 cents.
As always, fantastic finds. Fantastic video 💯 thank you ❤
St Louis Missouri area Goodwill clothing prices are insane. Any hoodie is minimum $12 and up. T-shirts are just a bit over $5 and go to $12. Any button up shirt with a half recognizable brand name is minimum $8. Jeans start somewhere around $8-$12 depending on who is tagging them that day.
I’m in Canada and our thrift store Value Village, has insane prices. I saw a large Cinderella pyrex bowl there this week, it was in awful condition and the pattern wasn’t one people really want. They wanted $36.99 🇨🇦for it. They don’t put any good items on the shelves anymore they usually put them on thier auction site. Crazy… I guess they are trying to be an antique store now… Thank you both for another great video. Sending love from 🇨🇦
😂you should see the Value Village in BC, they take all the “good stuff” and put them in their “boutique” store. They also had the audacity to accuse people of “changing price tags” if the items were priced cheap.
@@kyle0091000 I’m in Maple Ridge BC…. Lol
It’s crazy out here!
@@erinbarclay5316 🥲 I’m in Vancouver, you guys still have better deals. It’s crazy that’s for sure.
Love you guys!! Hope you find the most amazing stuff!!
Gotta love thrift stores pricing known fake bags for $30+ 🙄 lol ....$13 for a Minnie plush???... and that Shoe wall ...WHAT in the actual😂🤯 really cool seeing the deer/ bobcat encounter! Nice that you all got some golf in ✨Cheers from Greenville SC ✨
This was a really fun video to watch..a lot if variety
Thank you! :)
I'm excited! Waited til I got home and free time to get into this one! Yay let's goooooo!❣️
Nice putt Josh! Great video!
Wow that was a expensive thrift store ,good luck 😊😊xx❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful shot Josh!
It was nice to meet you both in Orlando. Goodwill is getting crazy.
You know when you are hooked on these videos when you recognize other TH-camrs
That “little guy” thing that you found is a Kokopeli. It’s a fertility god! LOL!
The Goodwill prices at my local Goodwill are insane. I was there the other day. For example, their keyboards are $9.99 each. And many of those are broken (missing keys, etc.) I tried talking to someone at the store about it but they didn't want to hear it.
this video makes me feel a little better about thrift shops near me but prices around here have been insane!
FYI MN it appears they have also gone retail pricing. Harder to find a bargin.
This was definitely a fun video!!!😊
Glad you got to play golf and had a great meetup, Josh & Haley!
Great video! I liked seeing the golf fun also!
I live in Michigan and all our Goodwill stores are exactly like that, very overpriced it's so ridiculous you can almost buy the stuff brand new for the price there asking for, I think they forget the stuff is donated for free to them they really need to start lowering there prices for people that can't go out and buy brand new things.
I’m also in MI and the few in my area are actually not bad- plus they have a color of the week 20% off
@@basiaconvery3857 The one's buy me never have a color tag half off week or 20% off coupons there always full price, once every other month they have a 50% off day for the whole store.
Thanks for letting people know the realistic prices of stores in other places. Denver is absolutely on the same scale (if not more) than Florida. It's also nice to see you having competitive fun outside of thrifting. [Kokopelli is the name of the figure .. looks like blowing a flute]
I’ve heard Denver has great bins though
BINS: Depends on how aggressive YOU are. I hate being elbowed, shoved, cursed, etc. (Denver is a heavy gun-toting locale), and just like stand-alone stores, it is extremely difficult to find good items anymore. Mostly Flea market vendors who are now really struggling and trying to sell at yard sales (during warm months). And FYI.. Plush are by the pound. Also convinced that people in the back are paid (under the table). Too much to write.
Early!! Love you guys! These are my favorite kind of videos, when you guys go outside of South Carolina!!
Florida Bins are very stressful. They employee work release adults. To protect their privacy, they don’t allow filming.
The bins aren’t for everyone, but as a reseller, the prices are absurd for what the items are. For me, as a reseller, those prices are only acceptable if the items are fast flips, or will make a substantial profit. Goodwill has quickly become a huge rip off to shop at. Even shopping for myself, it’s unethical to pay high prices for what would have been garbage anyway. My nearest outlet is about a 1 hour drive from where I live. So anyone who has nearby outlet stores, you’re super lucky!!
Good morning amigos from San Antonio Texas 🫂
When a deer stomps like that they are definitely warning you.
Dang. I was hoping to see the Taft Bins.
I've mostly given up on regular GW stores. I will pop in occasionally, but they're not in my regular rotation.
Hannah Anderson was huge in the 90s. Very expensive clothing
I'll be in Orlando next month and am looking forward to thrifting out of my home state. Looks like I'll be skipping the Orlando GW. Thanks for the heads-up!
Welcome to my daily thrifting experience. Im in Missouri and our prices are insane too! Have a great day HT!
Love The T Shirt, Josh!!
Chewy and I love seeing your videos when you go to your bins and retail stores because we suffer here lol but glad you guys were still able to find some goodies! - Koko
Thw Wild Wild West shirt was a TV show with James Garner as a snarky badass!
I just love you two! I love your videos!
Hey there. Just watched this video. Goodwill is extremely high. You may want to try any hospice thrift you see. Their prices are fair. While in Orlando, there is a discount Disney store and a Vera outlet. I suggest that you go to both of these. They are in the same outlet mall. Enjoy!
We call Thrift stores, charity shops in the UK. You would laugh at the size of the stores they are nowhere near the size of the ones you go in and there are no trolleys or baskets. Since a lot of people are now showing You Tube video's of buying and reselling the price's are going up because they are now looking up prices on Ebay or online and thinking they are going to get the same price. Soon the name Charity or Thrift store will be no more because they are becoming greedy and overpriced, they forget that they get the items donated , and it was to help people who are in need or have lower incomes, but it can be said the resellers for profit are to blame also, because if you can do it so can they.
Our thrift stores are the worst. Living in Orlando I would never recommend out of towners to come thrift here. Some parts of FL aren't that bad but Central FL is tourist city, so everything is overpriced.
That Goodwill Goldenrod/Hoffner is my area. We don't go to that bigger one too much...the one you found nothing at...because it's become horrible with pricing. The smaller one (like 3mins ftom us)...we usually find good stuff at half price there. Since it's the older location and smaller a lot of people tend to pass it over to go to the larger one up the road.
I love Hannah Anderson…great quality and cute clothes.Used to pick them up at garage sales for my daughter when she was little:)
I think it's crazy in general what "thrift stores" charge. As always you find great stuff. Love the variety.
I want those needlepoint Santa's.
Hi Josh ... I find thrift stores here in Nova Scotia Canada are kind of hit and miss. Sometime i can get some really good deals ... sometimes they are crazy expensive and sometimes they just aren't priced to a point where I can buy the items and make money on them. Sometimes you just have to look at the price (as you usually say) and figure out if you can make anything on them .. and some items are nice to have just to attract people to your store too. We don't have any Goodwills or Bin stores like you have there unfortunately too. I do still manage to find deals on occasion though,
I’m going to assume somebody already commented, but that chair that rocker is caning it’s called cane.
Geesh Goodwill prices in Florida. You guys did find some good things. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
I know right 🤯🤯🤯🤯
