    The graph is no lie...Ive got 78,000 on my stage 2 and have blown up a G type trans and a rear diff...replaced with a R151F trans and v6 diff....Hey Brain, Id like to know what jetting and timing you ended up with...Im at sea level and found 142mains 185air in a 38mm weber 91 octane and 34 degrees timing all in at 2700rpm hauls the mail....

    Are these numbers attained on 87 octane pump gas? And would the same engine get more power and economy from fuel injection? Im thinking of building this little powerhouse for my off road Vitara build, but i want to run cheap fuel.

    how much power loss would you estimate through the driveline purely through friction/drag? Would it be making over 120hp at the tires do you think?

    Just curious, what could be my motors issue, the prior owner had my re’s valve lash at 6 and 10, after being ran thousands of miles it was tight at 7 and 11 and some were hard to slip the gauge under, now that they’re correctly at 7 and 11 and all have the same drag and are gauged you hear a clacking sound, could it be a bent valve spring from the valves not closing all the way prior? Or could a spring have unseated due being decompressed completely when I swapped my rockers set screws? (Also, I know I did the valve lash right, did it 3 times to be sure watching your guys video each time confused on what was wrong, I don’t wanna tighten them back down to rid of the sound, thinking of throwing your street head on it with the efi cam and new rocker assembly, but I wonder if it’d be worth rebuilding my head)

    Are you guys gonna have a visit to the 3vze 3.0 v6 with your headers, performance heads, and your air intake? Mabey an exhaust system as well. I wanna buy the cylinder heads but i wanna know how much extra powa it makes

    • @fiys567
      @fiys567 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 3vze is a horrible engine no offense but the power it makes for the gas it uses is bad and they’re notorious for having all sorts of oil leaks and head gasket issues not a very good engine for the price you’ll spend on all that you can upgrade to a 3.4 v6 or the 22re

    • @ericbaker436
      @ericbaker436 ปีที่แล้ว

      @fiys567 Yeah, i know it's not the best engine by any means. But i mean for shits and gigs to squeeze the ring hole out of it and see what you get. I think being Aussie sorta doesn't help because we are brought up to squeeze as much power out the engine you got without caring how much it costs ahaha.

    Has anobody bought a new engine from these guys? I wasn't able to find any reviews on their website. My 22re still has a long life ahead of it with only 145k miles, but a buddy of mine has one with 500k I'm thinking of buying it off of him and throwing a new engine in or doing an engine rebuild with it with 22rePerformance, but LC has their stage 2 for only 5k or so, sounds like a deal for brand new 22re.

      Im on my number 3...first was a street performer 1999, second was a 2.6 stroker 2006, third is a stage 2 stroker 2018 and has 78,000miles now,,,Had very little problems, things like what you think is a leaky rear seal but its the retainer not the seal(they need to RTV the retainer) and everybody should helicoil the front timing chain cover bolt on any 22R(you cant tighten with out stripping and all 22Rs leak there, add the helicoil and you can tighten more and stop the leak. I only replaced engines for MORE POWER and have the 2 other motors in reserve that still run.....Im happy with LCE....

    What's the most power have you guys made with a full boost build....rods,crank,40 over forged pistons,heads,cam,e85 & big boost? Is 450hp+ reachable? If not I'll just build a 4.3 chevy v6 or 4200 straight 6.

    • @LC_Engineering

      We have heard of a motor or two reaching 500 but it is not common. A more common high boost build would most likely be in the 400's. Give us a call and we would be glad to go over the build with you. 877-505-2501
