the beginning of fire and desire just sonically with the high pitch sample sounds like what he describing. showcases that rumbling bass and razor sharp hi hats
Ahhh… Noah. 😊 So wild seeing him in this light. I grew up with him, in the Junction back in the day… eating cheap cheese sandwiches from the mom and pop shop across the street from our school….and practicing our kick flips in the alleyways in our hood. Good for you Noah! 🤗
This is what make a great producer.. you mix needs to be strong. Drums need to hit hard and punchy. Snares or snaps need to pop hard but leveled perfectly. I like my drums to hit hard but also warm and filtered
....new to the hip hop world? Lead vocals = extrovert Producers/engineers = introvert Sorry I misread ur comment I thought u said he SOUNDS LIKE a nerd
for me melodies are what gets me going. i struggle with a lot in production. going through a really bad dry spell. need to get better at sound design and picking sounds that gel together better from the start
Listen to different genres . And sub genres . Play with beats and don't take them to serious knock out 3 plus beats a day . Even if there shit. Just to experience with finishing songs from start to finish. You'll develop sound wise every 2or 3 songs or so . Work fast. Don't spend 45min on a snair. Just for ear training and signature style development Doesn't mean you gotta send those beats out.
Bro I know what he’s talking about because if you listen to every Drake that he produced, you can hear that same hi-hat and drum beat in the background. It’s so consistent which makes it easier for Drake to rap on, but he Drake can adapt to any beat technically
try to stack first , you need money to make money if you tryna go independent you can make a home studio off the capital you rack up. Put aside money for music vids , all that shit and try to build a team. Most important though is education , learn as much as possible
any updates? just get FL Studio for 300$ and a Mic Interface for 250$ bundled with a basic mic. Get a stand and a pop filter. put it in your room and just record stuff and get used to the sound. Get some beats from the internet, don't try to make it yourself if you don't know what you're doing. focus on being an artist first. take my advice. I spent 4 years learning how to make good tracks and neglecting the art side. a laptop too. just make stuff in your room and demo it and get good and confident in there. then rent a real studio and sit with the engineer for the studio and go back and forth with him about the track. just record 3 or 4 or 5 songs and then do a few videos and promote them. get a taste for it. you may even go through 2 or 3 different waves before you find your style. and I know it sounds generic but don't try to sound like others, you will always sound like you. find your strengths and stick to it.
Man I always start with the melody, drums basically do the shit you need them to do. Groove. He’s over generalizing pretty hard but I get it, realistically it’s equally as important as your Melodies
Ima have a portrait of 40 in my kids room and tell him it was Da Vinci
I’m gonna copy you bro
Greatest comeback is Noah’s hair
I love my boi but idk if it’s real
He’s taking about the old school. Most producers now start with the sample or a melody. This just isnt true anymore

@@internetj3r I don’t know you but I doubt you understand hip hop history more than me. Foh lame
To be fair he’s was probably ahead of that wave since he’s been producing for mainstream songs for over 10 years feel me
@@Antoinethecool 40 rides his niche like those other producers. 😭😭😭 he was feeling himself during this interview.
Travis Scott still starts with drums

Not my style of production but I like the passion he has for production.

The GOAT
❤ and hes right! I do not start with drums.. melodies and sounds first. Its more organic.

He’s the greatest, no one better.
Dude is technically making sense✅ however most Prod. Now start with chords then melody

Woaw it’s the guy from joeyy’s song
melodies are always first. he's probably 35 he must be talking about old producers nobody 14-34 years old is producing like that
Melodies are 1st now......because of 40 and drake lol
40 is the best producer in hip hop today
Not really. He’s dope but most of that ish is pop music
Yo I'm really good at rapping and songs but I'm broke as f*** , any advice on how to start ?

@@nathanwade3078thanks I appreciate the feedback. Do you happen to know how much a home studio cost that can produce professional quality ?

I’m gonna tell my kids this was the crazy homeless veteran who always ends up being right about the conspiracies.
So he starts with drums 🤣🤣
1:06:26 prod: metro boomin, Tay Keith, Mike Dean e Noah '40' Shebib
I got nothing on other producers, I am strugglng on the thigs I'm supposed to love like wow
This man is just to much for Drake alone
He needs to produce for other artits
No him and drake are so good with each other that’s why they been together for so long
How tf is he to much for drake you sound like a clown
No he doesn’t need to no one is as good as Drake
Dre is defined by his beats
Who is this guy?
Ice cube the goat tbh listen to death certificate album then come back to this comment
Looks good w the toupe. Or hair plugs. Or he always could grow hair? I feel like that’s unlikely
Have to say it, he looks better bald
Jordan had pippen and drake has 40
He looks like the dude who talks about his drugdealing past but with a beard
Don’t he reverse engineer his 808 patterns
Dudes please stop talking like Elon musty son on drugs it's just music
