how did you get the broken pin out of the wheelbase?

Hi Nova, I used a set of long nose pliers to grab and remove it. Luckily a piece was still there to grab onto gently. If it was completely stuck inside and nowhere to grab, I would have used duct tape or prestick to try and grab onto it and pull out. Hope it helps.
