People don’t “get sick” from magical flying Boogey germs. They DEVELOP illness when they resolve a stressful and upsetting event in their lives. Obviously this was getting your father into his home and finally feeling relieved. If you can’t “catch” cancer, you can’t catch anything else. I’m happy for your move!!

The history of cholera, typhoid fever, TB, and polio are just a few examples of how germs can spread disease through water, air droplets and on surfaces. Certainly, stress can deplete the immune system and make one more vulnerable to infection.
