Normally when I hear of more commiefornias moving here, I cringe and tell them to go back, as ho estly, our little city and state has sploded at the seams the last few years and it's hurting our prices of houses etc here. However, you're a born Tennesseean, so welcome back home and welcome to your bride and children when they visit. Don't take to heart about people saying go back or don't take there and bring it here. Our state literally has been inundated from people from CA NY WA and OR. If you're a conservative, believe in family values and morals you'll fit in,in no time. Don't forget, we're mostly laid back,talk a bit different and love to feed people and don't wanna change it 😉 . Welcome home.

I don’t like this part of TN near Nashville it’s hilly and. You are not allowed to park on the street and they build. House with small driveway you can’t have many friends over as there’s not place to park I live near. Murfreesboro TN I’m from Ohio had to move here because my husband was sick needed family close by . I’d love to see more of TN the Eastern part I think it’s nicer there ,

Plz u need to make a trip to Pickwick and Shiloh National Park...if u want to see something rich in History its unbelievable the Statues bloody pond mass graves! Huge statues its a place u will not forget about 21/2 to 3 hrs from u...Then come on to Adamsville and see Burford Pussers home monument where he was killed in a crash on the same highway u will see a monument in memory of our Governor Ray Blanton back in the day! Ur in a Red State now rich in history! Have fun...😊

I left Commiefornia in 19. I moved to Tennessee as well. The only thing I wish is that I had done it 20 years ago. When I was younger lol. But I love it. Welcome to the real American way of life.

Welcome to middle Tennessee from a fellow Californian! In December it'll be 2 years. We to left behind 1 soon a daughter inlaw and 2 grands. We followed one son and we have a3rd in AZ. It's been wonderful and so hard at the same time. We love our here so much. But, we miss where we were born and raised. God bless!❤ Were in murfreesboro! ❤

We recently made a similar move from SE Washington State to a small town in East Tennessee. The emotions are real. We left a home that had been in the family for 4 generations and the only town my wife had ever known. But after a month here in our new home we still feel it was the right decision. Life is just better here.

40 years born and lived in Ca and moved to Alabama. Best decision ever. We had to follow Gods path for us even though it was a hard and very emotional move for us being the first time out of state.

You moved from there to here so don’t bring there thinking with you! We moved here from there to keep here conservative. Please do the same. People will smile and say hi for no reason or wave when passing on country roads. It feels weird at first, coming from the angry west coast, but pretty soon you’ll feel right at home!

Please consider a U-turn and go make YOUR state BETTER instead of coming here and doing the same thing that turned Cali into the shit-hole it is now.

I think anyone moving to Tennessee from another state - particularly California, Illinois, New York etc. need to consider that Tennessee is EXPENSIVE, the lack of state income tax is consumed by one of the highest sales taxes in the country, Tennessee is southern and likes it that way. Many of you moving here or thinking about moving here need to think about what you are doing to the local economy. Job wages DO NOT support the exorbitant costs you are bringing to our state. My biggest question is where are these people getting jobs or did they all win the lottery?

The great singer, Avi Kaplan is from Visalia, California. After 6 years with the group Pentatonix, he bought a cabin and 1000 acres of land up in the mountains within an hour of Nashville. Close to studios.
