Great old cars, unfortunately many lost to banger racing.
I owned two but earlier 1952 models, both P4 75, I saved both from two different local scrapyards . Turned out they would have been on the production line together five cars apart.
A local lady quite eccentric back in the 70s would drive her Rolls Royce, but if raining you would see her in her Rover P4 110 I think it was. I wouldn't mind this Rover.

Never understood why people made a sport out of smashing up cars.I used to see it as a kid in the 70s on ITV,i used to see a lot of them old Wolseys getting raced about and smashed.I even went to a banger race and didnt think it was any good

@@brianmorecombe2726 Hi, sadly bangers racers will still pay really good money for these older cars, although thin on the ground now. Going back I recall them banger racing Sir Winston Churchills two door Westminster, a rare car in itself being two door, I believe it was a special commission.
Guilty as charged M'lud but as a teenager in the early 70s I would attend Aldershot stock car stadium, to watch the banger racing. Wolseley, Humbers, Rovers, I remember seeing an Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire on the track, a rear door flew open and all the white leather interior showing. Very sad.
But this was in the days before the classic car movement started as we know it. Cheers 🍻

I fear this one may end up being raced.

Rather poorly tarted up - presumably for the sale.
