Tracy, if I took the space to tell you what I love, it would be paragraphs and paragraphs and you would be aggravated at reading. So, I will try to keep it short! Lol. First, it is one of my biggest regrets that I will never see England-put it off until time and health ran out. Secondly, I know you are truthful, but it is so hard to believe that you have been married for 33 years; you barely look 33. And, in that lovely dress, you look like a goddess! So, since 2016 (approximately 8 years) you two have owned this property. Someone’s done lots of hard work, bless you. I so enjoyed this tour. Thank you for sharing your home and property with us. At 73 power naps are my RED BULL... haha And I agree, the ticket to a happy marriage is separate bathrooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your style is very hard for anyone to duplicate. You have a vision that just works with your home and property. Both are very unique, and a rare find here across the pond. I love those red leather chairs!!!! I too, went through my pampas grass phase. I even had it in the 60s when we would rope wrap large vases , and pick it along the roadside. Memories! Thats when are entertainment centers were cinder blocks and wood planks ! But boy were we happy! The deck by the stream looks like pure tranquility! Ahhhhh , a fire, a glass of wine.,, maybe a little charouterie...... the view of the water. Perfection.

I love how much light is in all of your rooms. As a person who lives in Seacoast NH, USA, I am also a person who eschews curtains of any kind. I want ALL the light as winters are long here and summers somewhat brief. What I understand is just how much work went into your home to make it so lovely. I appreciate your design aesthetic and share some of your ideas. Thats what makes the decorating world SO exciting and interesting 😊!

I moved into a cóttage/duplex and am lucky enough to have a small front covered patio and a larger back patio. I love it. The furniture, and linens stay clean. I can sit out almost anytime. I just have to remember the pots don't get any rain so need to keep up with the watering. I live in Victoria, BC, Canada.
Of course I'm obsessed with every room, every space, every piece.. oh but what i would give for a laundry room like this😮 Such an awesome space! Just love all the details and how its all laid out! Of course I'm in love with every piece of furniture & decor❤ And that bathroom/powder room is amazing.. the sink sand just all the pieces! That light fixture is gorgeous, so unique! You're just so crafty! Oohhh wow that first bedroom😮 and love the headboard! That bathroom is beautiful, the tub is something special, i just love everything about these rooms! And the dressing room itself is quite amazing! Lol I love all Bertie's beds as well😄 Ooh how nice it would be to have separate bathrooms! We're in the process of moving from one state to another, babu but the home we were living in we did have separate nice size walk in closets, which i loved! I also love all your doors, room doors, closet doors.. all are just beautiful❤ All the beams are just stunning! How cool are the ash tree shelves in that bedroom closet! Even all the sinks & cabinets are amazing! Personally i haven't used the large pompous grass to decorate in quite a few years, but i do have a couple of smaller dried flower arrangements that has very small pieces of it in them. I'm obsessed with old wood & love anything large or small manage from it.. like i said i love all the beams throughout your home, but those in the open space over the last bedroom are something special..wow! I love the outdoor kitchen, my husband would be obsessed for sure, he loves grilling & cooking outdoors😊 I loved the cottage makeover videos.. its also a gorgeous space! How cool that its used for location shoots!! I could live in the cottage & be 1000% happy!😁 I mean its more beautiful than most single homes! I just can't say enough about all your furniture pieces, even in the cottage❤ The cottage veranda is amazing. Basically most everything in my home is second hand from thrift stores or antique stores. I love thrifting & antiquing! We even owned A rather large thrift store for almost 5yrs, until a few months ago. Because we're moving we turned it over. This is the first time I've seen an actual tour of your property.. Oh and it surely did not disappoint!! Absolutely stunning!!❤ I love hydrangeas, you have the most amazing collection I've ever seen! The Annabell is so beautiful! When i was a little girl my old granny, as i called her, lived in a big white house built in the 1800's, no bathroom still had an outhouse, only running water in the back of the kitchen. There was A really large front porch that why all the way across the front with swings at both ends. There were huge blue & purple hydrangeas at both ends and 4 huge pecan trees in front that shaded the entire front of the old house. I always think of my old granny when i see hydrangeas, sweet memories🥹 You & your hubby do an outstanding job on the gardens! Always up for your DIY videos!!😁 Ahhh I'm obsessed with the Victorian/regency era & love collecting pieces grin that era.. you have a fireplace, lucky you! I bet its stunning! My other grandma had apple, pear, and pecan trees and grape vines. But the fruit was always plentiful every other year. There's A reason, but I can't remember🤷♀️ Our home we lived in when my son was growing up was on 40+acres shared with my FIL. There were 4 ponds, one connecting to a large lake. We had A chocolate lab, she swam every day! Well i could have watched your tour for hours.. you truly have a stunning home & property, a total dream! Thank you so much for sharing it all with us.. Thank you for this lovely video. I only got to watch it this morning. I agree that having a veranda is the best thing in life. We have wanted one since we moved into our garden flat 10 years ago. We have always had a patio, but as you say english weather you don't get to be out there much, this year we finally found the funds to put up a covering and it has completely changed thr way we live, especially coming from South Africa where you are permanently outside I love love love you home, and what comes through in your videos is how you appreciate what you have. I feel you have done more than any other person, company, organization or government to encourage recycling, repurposing and diy-ing. There are so many beautifully crafted pieces that with a little love and elbow grease can continue to add grace and beauty to our lives and homes that end up in landfill sites. I also enjoyed the little insights into your personal life that added that perfect touch that helps us all feel part of one big extended family. I would personally love to see future videos of how you recreated your home, how you integrate your objects from your junk pile of bricks and old windows etc into usable decor again, your updating of your fire pit area by the creek, diy-ing objects from your shed. Actually even going along with you on a charity shop day brings joy and inspiration to my life. You have helped me to look at any and every thing with new eyes and to imagine how I can create beauty using simple everyday elements that surround us. But most of all thank you for sharing your love of life, nature, family and your ability to see value and beauty in everything. Once again Bertie is that sweet piece of icing on top that makes your videos complete. Any video ideas you have in mind will add pleasure to any ones day especially mind.

I love how much light is in all of your rooms. As a person who lives in Seacoast NH, USA, I am also a person who eschews curtains of any kind. I want ALL the light as winters are long here and summers somewhat brief. What I understand is just how much work went into your home to make it so lovely. I appreciate your design aesthetic and share some of your ideas. Thats what makes the decorating world SO exciting and interesting 😊!

I moved into a cóttage/duplex and am lucky enough to have a small front covered patio and a larger back patio. I love it. The furniture, and linens stay clean. I can sit out almost anytime. I just have to remember the pots don't get any rain so need to keep up with the watering. I live in Victoria, BC, Canada.
Yes remembering to water the pots is where I come unstuck!!🤦🏼♀️😂
Of course I'm obsessed with every room, every space, every piece.. oh but what i would give for a laundry room like this😮 Such an awesome space! Just love all the details and how its all laid out! Of course I'm in love with every piece of furniture & decor❤ And that bathroom/powder room is amazing.. the sink sand just all the pieces! That light fixture is gorgeous, so unique! You're just so crafty! Oohhh wow that first bedroom😮 and love the headboard! That bathroom is beautiful, the tub is something special, i just love everything about these rooms! And the dressing room itself is quite amazing! Lol I love all Bertie's beds as well😄 Ooh how nice it would be to have separate bathrooms! We're in the process of moving from one state to another, babu but the home we were living in we did have separate nice size walk in closets, which i loved! I also love all your doors, room doors, closet doors.. all are just beautiful❤ All the beams are just stunning! How cool are the ash tree shelves in that bedroom closet! Even all the sinks & cabinets are amazing! Personally i haven't used the large pompous grass to decorate in quite a few years, but i do have a couple of smaller dried flower arrangements that has very small pieces of it in them. I'm obsessed with old wood & love anything large or small manage from it.. like i said i love all the beams throughout your home, but those in the open space over the last bedroom are something special..wow! I love the outdoor kitchen, my husband would be obsessed for sure, he loves grilling & cooking outdoors😊 I loved the cottage makeover videos.. its also a gorgeous space! How cool that its used for location shoots!! I could live in the cottage & be 1000% happy!😁 I mean its more beautiful than most single homes! I just can't say enough about all your furniture pieces, even in the cottage❤ The cottage veranda is amazing. Basically most everything in my home is second hand from thrift stores or antique stores. I love thrifting & antiquing! We even owned A rather large thrift store for almost 5yrs, until a few months ago. Because we're moving we turned it over. This is the first time I've seen an actual tour of your property.. Oh and it surely did not disappoint!! Absolutely stunning!!❤ I love hydrangeas, you have the most amazing collection I've ever seen! The Annabell is so beautiful! When i was a little girl my old granny, as i called her, lived in a big white house built in the 1800's, no bathroom still had an outhouse, only running water in the back of the kitchen. There was A really large front porch that why all the way across the front with swings at both ends. There were huge blue & purple hydrangeas at both ends and 4 huge pecan trees in front that shaded the entire front of the old house. I always think of my old granny when i see hydrangeas, sweet memories🥹 You & your hubby do an outstanding job on the gardens! Always up for your DIY videos!!😁 Ahhh I'm obsessed with the Victorian/regency era & love collecting pieces grin that era.. you have a fireplace, lucky you! I bet its stunning! My other grandma had apple, pear, and pecan trees and grape vines. But the fruit was always plentiful every other year. There's A reason, but I can't remember🤷♀️ Our home we lived in when my son was growing up was on 40+acres shared with my FIL. There were 4 ponds, one connecting to a large lake. We had A chocolate lab, she swam every day! Well i could have watched your tour for hours.. you truly have a stunning home & property, a total dream! Thank you so much for sharing it all with us.. As always I loved it, and excited for the next video!!

Thank you for this lovely video. I only got to watch it this morning. I agree that having a veranda is the best thing in life. We have wanted one since we moved into our garden flat 10 years ago. We have always had a patio, but as you say english weather you don't get to be out there much, this year we finally found the funds to put up a covering and it has completely changed thr way we live, especially coming from South Africa where you are permanently outside

I feel you have done more than any other person, company, organization or government to encourage recycling, repurposing and diy-ing. There are so many beautifully crafted pieces that with a little love and elbow grease can continue to add grace and beauty to our lives and homes that end up in landfill sites. I also enjoyed the little insights into your personal life that added that perfect touch that helps us all feel part of one big extended family. I would personally love to see future videos of how you recreated your home, how you integrate your objects from your junk pile of bricks and old windows etc into usable decor again, your updating of your fire pit area by the creek, diy-ing objects from your shed. Actually even going along with you on a charity shop day brings joy and inspiration to my life. You have helped me to look at any and every thing with new eyes and to imagine how I can create beauty using simple everyday elements that surround us. But most of all thank you for sharing your love of life, nature, family and your ability to see value and beauty in everything. Once again Bertie is that sweet piece of icing on top that makes your videos complete. Any video ideas you have in mind will add pleasure to any ones day especially mind.
