What a relaxing bedroom, nothing like a super soft throw, an a beloved pet sharing the bed. I have my moms rocker that looks very much like yours, even tho I'm across the pond. My Grandson at 7 - 8 said he wanted it, he'll be 13 soon, I'll have to ask again, if only to see the look on his face, he may surprise me with a smile.

Oh thanks so much for joining us Phyllis. The tub is an antique French bateaux and made of zinc which I found, covered in paint, on eBay before I started the build here. It was a labour of love stripping it but so worth it! 😊🤗

Oh Tracey, I love your bedroom. You get so much light coming through your windows and your calm paint colors make the whole look of your bedroom so peaceful. What a great tutorial on the crackling effect. I enjoyed every minute. Just a funny side note. Many many years ago when I was in a small apartment, I had some friends who came to help me paint. One friend did the bathroom for me. Well, when it dried, it came out exactly like your chair with the crackling effect all over the walls. We were rather bewildered but I loved it! My style at the time was very much victorian so it seemed to fit so well. It could be that the previous tenants had used an oil based paint prior and we didn't realize that. In any case, everyone who came to visit asked about the technique I used. It was always a fun story to tell. I think the way you used your large stems in the glass vase was just beautiful. I agree with you about the mirrors. They are great for reflecting light and making a space seems bigger. Another superb video!! I wish you a wonderful Sunday!! 😊🤗☺

Great video Tracey. It’s the 1st time I see crakling done directly on wood and I ADORE IT. I do have some issues too with AS FRENCH LINEN . I always see it on TH-cam but it always appears like linen but when I painted with it it has a greyish tone to it so now I mix it with old white. Much better. Hello from South Carolina. Everything looks fabulous. Many years ago when I started crafting, glue was what we used to create to create a crackle finish, I still use it.

I can go either direction although I prefer Charleston since we lived in that area and I worked down town Charleston for allot of years. We bought an old girl , she had good bones but needed to have about fifty years of not so great upgrades taken out.

We love everything about living here except the Noseeums!!🤪 We moved here from the beautiful mountains of East TN. I bet your “old girl” was beautiful!!! We bought a 1966 rancher on the water, had it remodeled, and now we are still working on one idea/project after the other.
You have done it again Beautiful. Totally inspired me. My bedroom has the same basic feel as your room, though much smaller. I have the whites, painted lamp, shutter. I am not at home now, but I am doing many projects with thrift store vases and mirrors and adding the plaster, dirt, chili peppers and yes, even the chives. I am in a rental for now, but exited to prepare all these things for when I return to my own home. See you next Sunday.

Lovely country, Sweden. My daughter lived there in the mid 90's and my visit was spectacular. Still light at 3 in the morning in summer. Reverses in the winter, mostly dark all day.

You can use a squeeze of artists oil paint to change the colour of the wax ( if clean up's with turps), or acrylic paint if clean up's with water.

Hello from South Carolina. Everything looks fabulous. Many years ago when I started crafting, glue was what we used to create to create a crackle finish, I still use it.

I can go either direction although I prefer Charleston since we lived in that area and I worked down town Charleston for allot of years. We bought an old girl , she had good bones but needed to have about fifty years of not so great upgrades taken out.
Beaufort is such a beautiful place. We often go to Savannah on our girls day out. The whole are is absolutely gorgeous.

You have done it again Beautiful. Totally inspired me. My bedroom has the same basic feel as your room, though much smaller. I have the whites, painted lamp, shutter. I am not at home now, but I am doing many projects with thrift store vases and mirrors and adding the plaster, dirt, chili peppers and yes, even the chives. I am in a rental for now, but exited to prepare all these things for when I return to my own home. See you next Sunday.

Hi ! I am new to your chanal and I just love the things you do and all things you buy and show us. I love the colours in your home, everything is beautiful. I am going to London in a couple of weeks with my 16 year old granddaughter and apart from visiting charity shops I will make sure to visit Homesense and other departmentstores. Lovely country, Sweden. My daughter lived there in the mid 90's and my visit was spectacular. Still light at 3 in the morning in summer. Reverses in the winter, mostly dark all day.
