Craziest most heart warming thing happened with my son at 5:23 a.m this morning... My 1 year old son woke up with a bad belly ache an i couldn't do anything for him to make it stop. So i tried putting him into the shower an he was still crying an i didn't know what to do so i pulled up my music play list on my phone an this song thats why i love dirt roads come up an 15 seconds after it started playing he started to calm down an then when it came to the part of the song about god he quit crying an started smiling :) i felt God was standing there helping him from his pain an it made me happy seeing this song helped my little boy. Great song!!

Then, Lincoln says 'maybe there is a deer on the bottom right of the album cover because River loved seeing deers. Then, Granger leaves to film the video and the deer appears on the mountain top as the sun sets.

Ohh yeah! Miss my childhood town, out in the country. Nearest neighbor was 2 or 3 miles away. An old dirt road, where we road go karts wide open, shot guns all day amd into the night, where our first loves watched stars shoot across the milky way in our truck bed before country music talked about them. Bonfires, hunting, and family! I miss the country living

My family and I were very close to loosing my dad 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. He had an infection on the back of his neck that went deep into his tissue and muscle. The hospital he was at had to life flight him to a bigger hospital were they performed the surgery. That night, I went for a drive and ended up on a few dirt roads. As soon as I was on the dirt roads, this song came on. I pulled off to the side and just listened and started crying. This song made me realize that this is just a bump and its gonna get better. My dad was in the hospital and rehab for 34 days. He got out on December 15th. He wont be able to work for a while since he has to keep his wound clean and dry but he's alive and has a new outlook on life.
Granger Smith would be one of the first five I'd pick for any concert in these United States after this pandemic trial.

I really needed this song right now just lost my grandfather recently and this brought back memories of him teaching me to drive between our hay fields in his old flat bed dodge. Alway loved your music the lyrics always seem to hit home. We actually even used the song “Tractor” for his memorial service.

SmokeEater 501 well that depends cause they started the 7.3 in 83 but it was a more expensive more powerful option in in 83-87.5 when they dropped the 6.9l for it. Im still more a fan of the powerstroke 7.3l though lol

The dirt roads remind me of riding in the back of daddy's truck standing up holding on to the rack. The wind blowing tangles in my hair. We had fun back then.

Seeing video with the words , puts all of it in perspective. America is filled with all these dirt roads filled with God , we catch that glimpse of that perfect sunset, the mountains or hills, the animals whether it be a wild deer, cows or a pet. It is truly where we can be closest to God and just marvel and reflect! Awesome! 😊👍

MJR FARMS thanks for the heads up. Never expected them fake Hollywood tricks with a granger video. I just assumed all the gas versions of those trucks were stripped of parts for the 7.3s.
@@mclarkson78 I never would have expected granger Smith to make such a poor video. The song is about dirt roads theres only 3 seconds of actual dirt roads the rest is pasture land and planting trees. All of his other videos are superb this one was terable the video and vocals don't match. The fake engine noise in the beginning even if it was a idi they don't sound like that. And I know what they sound like because I have 3 of each. idi and 7.3 power stroke at least they used Ford sounds lol. Dont get me wrong i realy like grainger smith and the smiths this video when I watched it did not connect with the song and I love the song and so do my kids.

lol, I had a truck same two tone grey/white, flatbed (SRW though), F250, cab lights just like that...though it had a turbo'd 6.9l idi (swapped in) in there with the later model ZF5! ...plus a dana 60 front axle, methanol, and few other bells and whistles.
