@@pjking5942 I'm from a small town in Northeast Tennessee. I went to Colorado before I came back to Tennessee after the military in the early 90's. I walked in to a 7-Eleven in Colorado Springs, and after talking about where I was from due to my accent, the lady ended up being a distant relative who knew all about where I'm from.

Oh my goodness. This video has me crying. Granger is the most underrated country singer there is. This video needs to make it on CMT and all the other music video channels, and this song needs to get on the radio. That is what a family man is like. I love this!

Heaven surely does have a few country things with all the country folks up there, it'd have to. My uncles are up there fishing right now. And Granger's little boy is running & playing with all the other little ones that left us too soon. 💙
Great Texas music. Live in KY now after living in WA state for over 20 years. What a great move getting out of WA. You played there several years ago, and your show sold out in about 30 min. The radio DJ seemed surprised that happened. There are a lot of good Country folks in WA state, and lots of Yee-yee sticks and flags. Even here in KY, the YEE-YEE is strong!
I am in love with the song "Country things". Reminds me of riding tractors with my grand daddy out on his farm when I was a young girl. My grand daddy was my hero in life. Your philosophies and mannerisms remind me so much of him. Biggest difference, HE COULD NOT SING!!!! But he sure tried. Thank you for bringing back such great memories of him.

These are the kinda friendships that last a lifetime, kids growing up together, playing together just like their parents did. This why I will always live in my small town. Sometimes it’s bad that everyone knows each other but most of the time it’s good, people still watch out for one another. I am a small town Texas kid as well, love watching Demo Ranch with my son and The Smiths, broke my heart to hear about the Smith’s loss because almost two years to the day before their loss I lost my fiancé and our unborn daughter whom we were due to meet in 3days. Sometimes life throws you curve balls but it’s how you move forward and how you let it affect you. I hope one day to meet both of the families, Matt’s and Granger’s but until then I will support their channels, our Texas country roots and music and our small town way of life
