VISITING BRIAN CONNOLLY MEMORIAL PLAQUE

Today I went out to Breakspear Crematorium north of Ruislip to pay homage to Sweet frontman BRIAN CONNOLLY.
Sweet's Hard rocking music gave inspiration to all of the Glam Metal acts of the 1980s. Hell, Krokus from Switzerland even covered "Ballroom Blitz.
Brain Connolly was cremated at Most Holy Name Roman Catholic Church at Old Mill Lane, Denham, Buckinghamshire in 1997 and his ashes were scattered nearby.
Fans raised money to install a plaque in 1998. It was unveiled at Breakspear Crematorium on 9 February 2000.
I thought that Brian was cremated here because most people who get cremated at Breakspear Crematorium end up with a memorial plaque.
