I tried to get back into it, but it's just too easy now. I'm level 40 going into Tatooine, whereas I was level 25 going into it back in the day. It seems to be inevitable for MMOs, in order to last long, they have to make them easier as time goes on.
I assume you know all this and are just clowning for the audience, but just in case anyone is interested: Tremmel was a high ranking overseer so he could have brought you in, but he did that not as part of the normal selection, but long after that batch was supposed to arrive. Inquisitor character arrives at same time in completely different class starting from scratch, your character is mentioned to have been trained previously, but nowhere near to be qualified for the graduating class. He did that to stop Vemrin who was starting to get recognition. The reason everyone knew about you as you arrived is because Tremmel made sure they did, in order to get you and Vemrin to fight, he was counting on you to stop Vemrin as example that Sith should stop recruiting from freshly conquered non-Imperial worlds. Exar Kun was a Jedi who fell to the dark side and started the second Jedi schism and destroyed Ossus academy. It had even bigger library of Jedi knowledge than you see in Prequels on Coruscant and was considered to be one of the wonders of the Galaxy. Exar Kun is first known user of double bladed light saber, his design was unable to be used as single saber, both blades had to be ignited at once. Later that was upgraded, but when Maul got similar idea he just welded two same lightsabers together.

I know the feeling especially with mmo rpgs repetitive quests but thankfully this game shines with its main stories
