Oneplus is literally apple on the android side. That silent switch is simply amazing !
apple in the sense of hardware and software not price (ik not by much)
Oneplus phones, even though they have gotten a lot more expensive, have also gotten A LOT more features in the past few years and their ‘flagship’ phones are truly flagships now. And they consistently undercut the price of their competitors. I respect them soo much. Coming from an Apple user. (edit: wrote ‘over the next few years’ instead of ‘in the past few years’ lol)

Just ordered my OnePlus 8t. It gets here tomorrow via Amazon and I can't wait. I wanted this phone since it came out 6 months ago. I actually chose it over the eight Pro and the new 9 series. Unfortunately, the new 9 series doesn't offer dual SIM card ability and the 8 series does. That's a big deal to me.
Got an email last Monday, announcing the 8T release from T-Mobile(with 12GB RAM/256GB). Ordered it that day and received it on Wednesday. Love it. Glad to have an affordable flagship level phone with a flat screen, finally.
I am facing the issue of battery draining fast .. i bought this yesterday.. i am using refresh rate 60 only.. only 3 apps installed in my phone.. i am not a gamer.. but battery is not good.. very much disappointed..
I just bought the lunar silver with 12gb of ram and 256gb of storage few hours ago on amazon, right when it was launched, I’m in India, I guess it’s only available at some places
I also want to buy 8t but I am really confused between 8 and 8t.😞 OnePlus 8 has curve display its look premium.
8t has flat display.

@@Everything-ij8xd go with the 8T. It will last you longer and come with Android 11 right out of the box. The performance may be similar but the camera is a slight improvement. And that heat control system will give you better temperatures and yes the 65W charging is nice to have.😁🤗

This IS my next phone. I live the design.
The fast charging is awesome. I'm sure the fast charging will wear out the battery faster so I don't let it sit at full charge. Though now I don't charge my phone at night I just stick it in the charger when it's low for 30 min and I get a whole days worth of use.

It’s not another flash light that’s a sensor. Of display flickering issue in screen when recording a video of a mobile screen or other screen
Not the first reviewer that pulled out a clear case. First one I saw pulled from a media kit.
In any case, i just purchased one from T-Mobile and there is no case included.
I'm using the phone for 1month.
I have 3 issues.
1. The video on my mobile is getting stuck(online and in gallery too)
it's for 2times in a week.
2. if I have to clean cache files i have to open inividual app and delete which is super annoying and very time consuming.
3. the camera quality is not Good with this price, need software based optimization from Oneplus very soon

The only iphones that could box with it are the 11pro, 11pro max, 12 pro & 12 pro max. that's it. Xr and 11 are literal jokes compared to this phone. 120hz. 65w. comparable camera. much better battery life

I have had the 8pro and the 8t to test.
The 8pro is so much better when it comes to Photo and video quality.
Also the screen is so amazing on the pro. Wireless Charging is good to have, but wired charging with 30 Watt is soo fast. I got my oneplus 8pro for 669€ on Proshop, 128gb 8gb ram.

The macro cam never gets any love. I enjoy my 7t and it's macro camera. Upping it to 5mp kinda intrigues my interest but no review goes into depth on it
Macro cam is only there to boost up camera count. It's utterly bad, you get much better macro shots by using main cam.

I'm sending back my 8pro in exchange for the 8T. I couldn't stand the curved edges of the screen. Way too sharp of a drop off that constantly caught glare. Drove me nuts! Can't wait for my 8T and its flat screen!
I was ready to spend extra for the pro model. But after knowing that there's no 8T pro, I was gonna buy 8 pro, but the flat screen wouldn't let me go and here I am with the 8T!
@@prathameshhalade8230 yeah, I thought the curved screen was cool but its annoying. My mom has a note 10+ and Samsung did the curved screen much better. It's a more gradual curve rather than the 8pro's straight dropoff

I think it's water proof but like always oneplus doesn't advertised. They might of even improved the water proofing this time around.

Yes, green covers both variants. Silver is only 8/128.

Your lg v40 has 256 gb storage? 12 gb ram? UFS 3.1? 1000 nit display, 3 cameras and dual led display, 65 watt charging? It has none of that.

@@oceanbreeze685 that’s a 2 year old phone, that doesn’t even have Android 11 I’m pretty sure, nor does it have a recent security patch. The battery is small, and cameras are definitely not dslr quality like, as 2020 phones are somewhat close but still not there yet in a lot of ways, especially portrait photography, charging techs outdated, a notch, specs only show 64 GB of storage, not seeing 2 TB anywhere. With a micro SD card? That just slows down your storage speed, as the sd card is slower than the onboard storage the device comes with, and negates new technology like ufs 2.0, 3.0, ufs 3.1 etc.

No, if you look closely, the top and bottom bezels are slightly thicker than the sides. The Pixel 5 has symmetrical bezels.

Oppo Findx2 phone is heavy and the display is too curved which I don't like I love flat screen and updates are very fast on OnePlus , so for me yes OnePlus 8t is good over oppo Findx2 pro

You have to give Oneplus credit, they definitely KILL Apple and Samsung on presentation, whether on consumer box or reviewers box! AND THEY STILL GIVE US CHARGER AND HEAVY DUTY TYPE C CABLE. TO TOP THAT, IT'S A 65 WATT WARP FAST CHARGER!! Awesome 👌

I agree. I am all about the display, so for me whatever other features a phone has, if it has a notch or hole punch, or less than 1440p and 90 hz refresh rate, then I will pass in favor of keeping the Oneplus 7 Pro.

I dont really care about IP rating, i dont go swimming with my phone so it just has to withstand rain-ish weather.
Just save money and buy 7T, it's really great anyway.

there is only one flash. the other one is a sensor which removes the flutter when you record on screen. like when you record any monitor using your phone you you have a flutter but this removes it. idk the name of the sensor thats why i did not write the name of it.

We all know this is a great phone...but as normal with oneplus {apart from the pro} the cameras are nothing special and that’s what stops me purchasing it. Shame.
