Neat trick! Especially since I can't find my pressure bleeder and the TwoBaru (our second one, the first was a 1996 that lasted 20years/200k miles before a truck drove into it. Still runs so we use it around the farm - it was called the Fubaru )

You got bubbles on the third caliper because you pumped with the bleeder open. The hose won't fit air tight over the bleeder or if you loosen the bleeder too much you'll suck in air through the bleeder threads.

I'm sure it works. But it won't address issues of air caught further back. Your only letting out whatever is caught near the nipple. It's a good quickie, but it really is just a band aid. Shouldn't be used for a flush, or if any brake components were replaced; lines, caliper, hard line, master cylinder.
Personally I do a full flush every year. I use a bladder bleeder to apply pressure at the reservoir.

1. Im assuming when changing the brake fluid you dont want to drain the system dry before adding the new fluid? 2. Im due to change my brake fluid and im using a different brand fluid (motul) and read you dont want to mix brands so since the brake system and clutch system use the same fluid Reservoir then i need to flush my clutch system as well? 3. Do you have a video on flushing the clutch fluid system? Do i just bleed the clutch system until the new fluid starts to come out?

How much brake fluid due to need to do a complete brake fluid and clutch fluid change?
maybe 1 L I suppose. I could prob get by with a couple pints.
Have you ever looked into a Master cylinder brace for a stiffer brake pedal feel? Both Perrin and Cusco make one. Thinking about getting one.
+Ryan Meyer i have seen it, but not interested personally. i would upgrade my rotors/pads first. If that is all done, and i had nothing left to do, i might consider a brace. but, i heard the install can be a hassle also.
Ya I heard its difficult to get the bottom 2 bolts torqued correctly. I think I might try it out though. From what I've read people are saying it makes a large noticeable difference.
+Ryan Meyer that area of upgrades is actually on my mind for 2016, look for future vids. My power is now PERFECT, i have no need for more. my tune is safe. now i need a little better brakes. preferably the most simple yet effective upgrade, like slightly larger rotors, but i don't know if anyone makes them. trying not to touch the calipers if possible, i like oem+ mods. and i don't want to do an older STI retrofit, but who knows, maybe i will. the #1 concern is to not add squeal, which happens EVERY time i change brakes from oem on a car.

I mught have to do those to my WRX. I always thought there was a decent amount of dead travel in the brake pedal. And would have expected a firm pedal from the factory.
I notice you put new brake fluid in, so how did you dispose of the brake fluid you bled?

Do you have the cap of the reservoir open when you're bleeding the brakes and pressing the pedal? I would assume not since the pressure needs to have only one exit flow point but just wanted to make sure. Thanks
its not like its 100% air tight anyway, but you might as well have the cap off just to be safe.
have the bleeders been open since the factory? how many miles on her? i noticed a pretty spongy brake on my 2014 forester, I paid for a brake bleed since they couldnt find anything. So much better feel after that. I emailed SOA, without fighting they sent me a check for what i paid the dealer to do the brake flush.
ya a lot of cars arent bled perfectly when new or air gets in while they sit

what brake order do you recommend on the forums they say furthest from master cylinder working to closest, that meaning pass rear then driver rear then pass front then driver front?

the bleeder tube? i change that all the time, something that stretches over nicely.

This is bleed order?
1. Front Right
2. Rear Left
3. Front Left
4. Rear Right
i have never paid much attention to the order, as long as you didnt let air in from the top by having the master cylinder run dry
Harry Wu start from farthest away to the master cylinder first. In many cases
1. Passenger rear
2. Driver rear
3. Passenger front
4. Driver front
This is to prevent clean fluid from mixing with dirty fluid along the lines. If you start at the front and work to the back, you're just wasting a lot of clean fluid.
