Please, I do have two questions: 1. Does this require that hardware have TPM 2.0 enabled? 2. Does this still include Windows Defender? Thank you very much in advance.
Not very sure about the Defender, however, I do think that you need to have TPM 2.0 enabled as it is installed based on a existing Windows installation.
1. it doesn't, but since it need you to install the vanilla version of windows 11, you need rufus to bypass the tpm 2.0 requirement for installing the vanilla version of windows 11 before applying the atlas playbook. later, if you install app or game like valorant, better to go back to windows 10 since tpm requirement that valorant need is a must. 2. the playbook come with an option that you can choose, enable or disable the defender.
No, you don’t need TPM 2.0. Even Windows 11 doesn’t require it with a registry change to bypass the requirements, and this allows you to choose if you want defender.
I use atlas, it’s basically a simple debloat. People get triggered about defender which is now not recommended to be disabled, but if you’re not a moron you can run windows without defender or UAC
You don’t need windows defender but you do need UAC since UAC prevents any application from elevating permission to administrator without anything to stop it
You said Tiny 11 is not useable, I beg to disagree, having run Tiny10 and 11 for 1 year now as a daily driver, not even single crash/freeze for 3rd gen i3 laptop (Tiny10) and Intel n95 (Tiny11). Btw, having also tested Xlite for awhile and it worked fine, see no difference in performance. Stick to Tiny10/11 as the interface is the same as the original. Before installing Tiny10/11, loading takes forever to load, shut down also takes ages (personal feeling), once installed Tiny10/11, both issues disappear, fast and painless.
This guy forget to mention you can't restore your system, you can fix it through scan, and you'll end up in a loop of bad things after a while. So yeah, don't get fooled, and research, I was fooled, and payed the price.
This is nothing good at all.. I just need to dig down deep in settings and optimize it for once.. it does took long time but worth it.. if you create system restore point.. or Leave Windows behind ,do nothing!

@@casperong6637 Thank you very much, Casper. I have Windows 10 already installed, and I'm thinking about upgrading to AtlasOS.

@@elyzsabethahne2116 You probably would be much better off upgrading to Windows 10 LTSC.

2:43 im pretty sure atlasOS 0.3.1 doesnt require activation but 0.3.2 does
They have now removed activation from 0.4.0 as well
both does
@@LoneShot no 0.3.1 doesnt require activation
Even 0.4.0 doesn't require Activation @@LoneShot
yeah i accept that

Nese 7 is often an updated version than Windows 10, Tiny10 or later versions
Tiny 11 is prob the worst out of all it performs better the. Windows 11 but peforms worse then the custom windows
It still has the bad start menu but also removed some good Windows 11 Features. Not really my piece of cake.
How does this compare to the DeBloat Windows scripts?
Atlas is way faster and better
when i learned how linux work & game ,windows just a disaster to me
I have less than no interest in copilot, until I can remove it, I refuse to use Windows.
Windows Optimizer by hellzerg allows you to disable unnecessary stuff and do some privacy tweaks.
You can disable it in taskbar settings or gpedit
Thank god a linux user 🙏
@@User-qn3zb but it's still installed and running?
@armyxveteran cool. It's a privacy nightmare. Mark my words by years end you'll see Microsoft apologizing over it.

You could activate Windows for free with using a third party KMS such as py-kms
or massgrave powershell command
try Nano11 23H2

AtlasOS sucks, just harden windows
Why do you say that i was thinking of switching to atlasOS can you change my mind on why I shouldn’t
