    I started in a math class recently and the professor literally expected us to already know this and be masters of it. He wouldn't even explain it or slow down for those of us who hadn't been exposed to this before. I can finally understand this now!

    Thank you so much and I owe you a lot! I'm having online classes right now and both us students and teachers are having a hard time learning and teaching due to the limited time given to us online. You've just saved my 1st quarter 10th grade math lol.

    lol im just trying to pass a high school math level - just to confirm, "and" in a situation with T + F would make it definitely False and "or" would make it definitely True, right?

    • @AdamPanagos
      @AdamPanagos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What you wrote is correct. T AND F is F, while T OR F is T.

  • @ganeswaranselladurai6189
    @ganeswaranselladurai6189 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    can I start with f and t?

    • @AdamPanagos
      @AdamPanagos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, the order doesn't matter. But it's very common to list them in an "ordered way", either FF, FT, TF, TT or.......TT, TF, FT, FF.

  • @AliHussain-in2sp
    @AliHussain-in2sp 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    In the first example not p and q are false but why is it that in the second example not p and q is true, could you please explain???

    • @AdamPanagos
      @AdamPanagos  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the values of P and Q are changing in each row. They have values that make "not P and Q" false in the first row, but values that make "not P and Q" true in the 2nd row. That's the entire point of the truth table.

    Hmmm my textbook states you start with TT, TF, FT and FF....curious this is covention?

    • @AdamPanagos
      @AdamPanagos  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Either ordering is fine, as long as you progress in some type of ordered "binary count" pattern. Just don't want it to be random. Hope that helps,
      Adam
