    since work is same so
    man × days=man × days
    (12M+10W)15=(30M+25W) y days
    2(6M+5W)15=5(6M+5W)×(y)days
    30=5y days
    y=30/5=6 days.

    I just looked at the total of the people. 22 into 55 goes 2.5 times. 15/2.5 = 6

  • @a.bgamer6938
    @a.bgamer6938 ปีที่แล้ว +17

    To do this is quite simple
    As the people are inversely proportionate to days therefore,
    Person = constant × 1/d
    i.e Person × days = constant
    i.e from 1 we can say that,
    Men+ women × 15 = constant
    (12+10) × 15= constant
    22×15=constant
    330= constant
    Therefore in 2nd equation,
    (Men + women)×days=constant
    (30+25)×days= 330
    55×days=330
    Days=330/55
    i.e. Days=6

    So sneaky! I paused the video at the beginning and tried to figure it out. I realized that if we go to extremes (either men do all the work and women do no work, or women do all the work and men do no work), no conclusion could be drawn about the relative work output of men compared to women. So "obviously" it was D. Then I resumed the video. The second you implied most people go for D, as I had, I looked back up at the specific numbers and realized my mistake. It's a very clever question. The sunglasses should have told me something.

    • @humairarahimsamapti1408
      @humairarahimsamapti1408 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      30÷12=2.5
      25÷10=2.5
      Whatever the men or women number is you have to divide them by previous number. This is how you know.
      Then you have to divide the time by the quotient.
      Here, 2.5 times more people are working so the time should be 15÷2.5=6.

    The answer implies the assumption that the task can be divided among an arbitrary amount of people, and the work time is has a linear relationship to the amount of people. (As a counter example, imagine the job they are doing is working 15 days as security guards. In that case it doesn't matter how many people are there, it will always take 15 days) Since those necessary pieces of information aren't given, D is the correct answer.

    The number of persons increases to more than double. If it were exactly double, then it would be 7.5. Go to the nearest approximation, which is 6.

    Not all work is strictly linear in terms of scaling.
    For instance, if it takes 1 person 1 minute to change a lightbulb, how long will it take 10 people? 100 people? 10,000 people? It also says nothing about the tools involved. If these 12 men have a job of moving wheelbarrows and dumping them into a pit, if the number of tools (wheelbarrows) does not increase, the amount of work performed does not scale.
    Lastly, there's the overhead of coordination. If your software design project is running late, how much faster would it get done if you double or triple the staff? In software engineering, adding people is often a sure way of adding delays.

    Or you could do it by calculating the efficiency method. 12 men and 10 women can do a piece of work in 15 days. So their efficiency is 10:12 that is one man completes 10 works a day and one woman completes 12 works. So total work for a day is 12x10+10x12= 240
    Total work for 15 days = 240x15=3600.
    Since Total work and efficiencies are same 30 men do 300 works a day and 25 women also 300. So TW for a say is 600.
    So total no of days for completing the work = 3600/600=6

      If we use indirect variation then,
      K/(16+28) = 40 days
      K = 40 × (16+28)
      K = 1760, where k is a constant
      So, 1760/(24+14) = 46 days, 7 hours and 34 minutes to be exact.
      If you use the other method,
      (16+28) ×40 = (24+14)×x
      1760 = 38x
      1760/38 =x = 46 days, 7 hours and 34 minutes to be exact.

      simple way first in 12 mens and 10 women's complete their job in just 15 days then how much days the same job has done by 30 mens and 25 women's so then now divide 30/12 = 2.5 for mens and 25/10=2.5 for womens now we have to calculate days so 15/2.5 = 6 days .

    👎🏻 No, it is still D.
    For example, the job might be something like laying a slab of concrete which takes 15 days to cure.
    Or planting seeds and harvesting the sprouts when they're 15 days old.
    Or monitoring the 15-day lifecycle of a batch of bacteria.
    Or (even worse) hearing each person's opinion and coming to a consensus about some political or spiritual issue.
    Or .. etc

    It can't be determined because 15 more women will make it very complicated. . They will gossip a lot among themselves 😂😂

    If 22 men & women require 15 days
    then, 1.... = 22 × 15 days
    then, 55.... = (22 × 15) / 55 = 6 days
    [ Men (12) + Women (10)= 22]
    [ Men (30) + Women (25) = 55]
