My First Time at Lakeland Antique Mall: RARE Theme Park Props + Early Halloween Decor Hunting in May

- Come with me to the popular Lakeland Antique Mall for my first time, and also for a very surprising find of a code orange, aka Halloween decor already out in shops in May!! So early, but so fun! Orlando is experiencing a crazy heat wave this week, so it's the perfect time to check out some unique shops and see what's new and what's neat! Lakeland Antique Mall is known for having extremely rare, one of a kind theme park props, signs and memorabilia, particularly Disney and Universal! Some are historical, some modern, all are very cool to see! Since so many items are one of a new kind, and amazing new pieces are introduced on a regular basis, the inventory is constantly changing, so there are NEW things to see all the time! Not just retail items though, one of a kind items that once graced rides, attractions and shows at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort and more, and featured in special events like Halloween Horror Nights, Theme Park Resort Hotels, Disney Cruise Line and more. So it’s finally time for me to visit, for my FIRST TIME! Let’s take a tour and I’ll show you the coolest things we find! And then we'll head to Joann's Fabrics to see the surprise that they've already started stocking up on Halloween 2024 decor - the first Code Orange of 2024!!! It's Halfway to Halloween, so fun timing! We'll take a look at what's out in the new collection! Both indoor and outdoor Halloween decor are out! I was so surprised to see this! My annual Halloween decor hunting videos usually start later in the summer, but I had to take a peek at what's in store and share it with you!! Let's have a fun, summer-y day checking out specialty shops and escaping the brutal Florida heat!!

We visited the antique mall in Sept 2021. I was floored at all the available items. At that time they had some original art from Snow White. Also had a full window display of Snow White from the Emporium for $26,000!
Halloween is never too early because every year In my brain and I'm so excited all Halloween stuff come back out in UK 🎃🖤

I’m glad you were able to go to Lakeland antique mall. I’ve seen several videos and they have so much unique stuff and you also threw in a cold orange. I can’t believe we’re halfway to Halloween already. This year has flown by. Definitely try to stay cool in that Florida heat, it’s been rainy and humid here, but I get so cold. Motivated me to revisit the place. Been going there for some years. There have been park props before but they really threw in the towel this time. Cool collection.
I love videos of visits to stores like these! I remember going to the mall as a kid and just feeling like The Disney Store was it's own attraction with all of the models/statues up top throughout the store. Seeing them all over again brought back so many memories! Thanks for sharing!

Great video Jackie!! Loved it!! I like the antique store. It’s so cool inside!! I love all the Disney and Universal stuff!! I especially love the Snow White doll with the signature of Walt Disney!! It’s so cool!! I like to go to Joanne’s too and look at all their stuff. I can’t believe they have Halloween stuff out already, but I like the collection of it. It’s cute. I love pinwheels, too! My childhood memories of summertime meant pinwheels, jump ropes, marbles, and jacks. Great excursion. Halloween "moths" are a decor trend lately. Not my taste. I agree that my favorites are more traditional vintage colors. They remind me of my childhood in the 1960's. Thanks for sparing me the heat and giving me the opportunity to explore. 🌔🎃😊
Weird, I’m def not into the moth trend for Halloween. But always fun to see stuff out. And oh I could just smell summer with the things you’re describing!!

Just found Expiditiion Theme Park ( Extinct Parks) !!! Was shocked that the voice sounded familiar!!! After checking your videos I realized it was SAM!!! If anyone reading this is interested in finding out about theme parks that are gone, watch these videos!!! You can hear Sam !!! A few rude people complained about how he doesn’t pronounce words like they do!! I’m going back to watch all of his videos!!! He’s VERY thorough in his history and very interesting!!!!
His videos are so well researched, interesting and he has such a great talent for storytelling! Plus humor! Some folks are so strange and don’t realize that a British person will pronounce words differently than an American 😂 but yes he’s amazing and I’m so glad you found his channel!!
This was interesting. We love Antigue stores, we have 2 very small ones in our hometown area. We like going to see if they have anything new every 3 months or so. This was cool stuff. I had restraint and I know I’ll be back with Sam! I love looking at it all but we also have an apartment that isn’t huge and not a ton of space so I have to be judicious with what I choose to buy! That’s why shirts are always a good souvenir when traveling, bc I’ll wear them haha!

The real magic of the antique mall is that somehow, some way, all of these treasures remain there to be stumbled upon by adventurers and park enthusiasts like you! 🥹 I would think that some of the larger, rarer items would be snagged up so quickly that we’d never even see them hit the shelves. Then again, it sounds like you did get a little bit of a head’s up! It’s beyond cool to see so many fragments of Disney and Universal history collected up into one place. Welcome to my hometown Lakeland Florida jackie super enthused. Im so happy that your here 💘😊😊💘. Let me give you a tour of Lakeland Florida Jackie. On your left we have dade city and. Zephyrhills and. On your we have. The church called new life Assembly god. Church. I go to new Life Assembly of god. And. We have the Spanish church. Called iglesia de dios Pentecostal and. We dont have alot of restaurants here in Lakeland Florida. But. We have a bunch of shops here in my hometown. Lakeland Florida and we have downtown Lakeland for me and family like to call it south florida.😊.
I’m really wanting to make this a stop on my next trip. Trouble is I don’t drive, buses would take hours so it’s going to be an Uber 😣. But I’m justifying it as it will cost the same, or less, as a day trip 😅
