Please can you make a normal thread... I think to create a thread you need to draw a sketch circle in front of the circular diameter (offset from the surface) and then to use the thread extrude cut not extrude. Because this giving as result a not real thread about the dimensions. It is impossible to have a shaft 8mm and the same time the tread M8x1 to be bigger diameter. I have seen a few drawings and the most of the people they don't use the 3d illustration for their threads just a construction line and the size of thread... I believe the thread in 3d is only for to make your drawing more nice in 3d view. Thank you for your tutorials is very nice to learning from you.
