I think I love you. If this works when I get home from my business trip, I will be so happy. I don’t know why every electronics manufacture throws so much garbage on the home screen, and then tries to sell their product as minimalistic.
Can you demo "Search" function on different smart TV? I think it is the most important function. It should answer the question where to watch what I want to watch? Suppose you want to watch movie "The Matrix". Which app is it available on?
I’m guessing this has nothing to do with all LG OLEDs like the GX? Just C3? I don’t think anyone is making videos about the LG GX anymore. 😢 That TV is still capable of things that I don’t understand. I never quite got the ideal picture from it.
Hey, this applies mainly to 2023 webOS version, though probably you will find similar options in the menus on your TV as well. For sure things move too fast and many great TVs get forgotten and not covered anymore. I don't have GX at home or anywhere nearby to check it out, but in regards to picture, what exactly are your concerns? Have you tried tips from this video? th-cam.com/video/1BjD5fg4Twk/w-d-xo.html
@@TVguyDarko I’ve looked at several TH-cam videos. But only from a couple of different channels. 90% of my time on the GX is for gaming. Before the GX, I have an economy model LG 4K HDR 43 inch. It was the best economy TV I ever owned! I was blown away by it. So I thought the OLED would really shine. But honestly, I was disappointed. Thank you for the link! I will take a look. And thank you for the reply!
@@TVguyDarko there is edit icons on the ends of the sections but i cant get rid of the big ad etc. the big edit button on the bottom is gone. I think they updated the WebOS version very recently.

Hey Matt! Yes, it still works and I've tried it on the new webOS 24.
Is there an option to make look webOS 23 like Panasonic's My Home Screen, in which the apps are shown only as a layer at the bottom of the live tv?
Unfortunately, no - it is one of drawbacks of webOS since it went full screen.
Very helpful, thank you
Glad it was helpful! Cheers!
My mum just got this so I'll do this for her to make it easier to navigate
Great!

Is this version only available only for OLED ones or what ?

How did you get rid of LG Channels ?
If your TV is connected to the internet, why would you want to get rid of the LG channels?
@@TheLastWordWithBob them channels are useless
@@yoh2278 Not at all, I use them all the time. Beats subscribing to another streaming service.
As of today step 1 doesn't work. The edit button is not there just setup my tv
I’ll see if I can get an LG TV to check this. Thanks for the info.
