  • Many friends say that driving from Bangkok to Khao Yai is considered a higher altitude. It uses more energy than when driving from Khao Yai back to Bangkok. We were also curious so we went to test it. Compared to the previous clip EP1 as well.

The results show that in EP1, Rangsit to Khao Yai, during the day, air conditioning 23 degrees, driving not very fast, going 80-90 km/hr, using 136 kWh of energy.
Compared to Rangsit to Khao Yai at night, air conditioning 24 degrees, driving faster, about 100-120 km/hr, using 123 kWh of energy.
It is considered to use less energy. So it can be analyzed that Higher air conditioner temperature will save more electricity. But speed has a greater effect, causing the energy used to be less than what was expected.
As for the return trip in EP1, Khao Yai to Rangsit, in the evening, the air conditioning is 24-24.5 degrees, driving not too fast, 80-90 km/hr, using 98 kWh of energy.
Compared to Khao Yai to Rangsit at night, air conditioning 24 degrees, driving faster, around 100-120 km/hr, using 118 kWh of energy.
This time, it is clear that the energy consumption is about 20 kWh different, making us know which one is the one that uses the most energy. It depends on the speed of the car rather than going up the mountain or down the mountain in the Rangsit-Khao Yai distance. The temperature of the air conditioner may not have as much of an effect on the speed of the vehicle.
Summary of the test results of this time The thing that will cause the electric train to waste the most energy is the speed 555+. Take care to test it up the mountain and down the mountain. But if it goes up a high mountain, Up-down Khao Yai However, going up a steep mountain like that uses more battery power.
