It's a modified Piccolo bass guitar (bass guitar tuned one octave higher), with closer string spacing and regular guitar string gauges. Basically, a METAL bass guitar.
Close but it is a piccolo bass guitar that modified at all custom built, you’re correct that it’s 200 octave higher than a standard bass that’s the purpose, but the strings are Piccolo bass guitar strings. the piccolo bass is one of my fav oddball instrument. it is so fast and fun to play. i prefer huge neck bass with a normal bass octave but the piccolo bass have its own niche.
