I so love the colors of this blanket but I couldn't wait for the tutorial so I'm making the feather and fan stitch with these colors. I'll make this Chevron with a different set of colors. I think the Hiya Hiya Crochet give away is fantastic and I would be so happy to win and the Chevron Blanket is my favourite tutorial.
You make it look so easy. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial.
I have now started a group on Facebook called Ophelia Talks Crochet, come and check it out, it is only small but we are all like-minded and very friendly!! Can't wait for you to join! In the mean time, keep watching! Lots of love Anja x
This looks so easy but counts are not matching up, it's so frustrating !! Saving this vid tho for reference, thx for posting
I am fairly new to doing Crochet and I loved his one so much that I am half way through doing one for myself. You are a real inspiration. Keep crocheting on. KInd regards Jackie Mackie. Xx
Thanks for watching my video Jaci Mackie and keep crocheting. Anja xxx💕🌈💕
I love this pattern 😊. I'd like to use DK yarn can u tell me what multiples I should be working in? Ty xx
Hi, this is worked using DK weight yarn, so use the multiples in the tutorial video. Anja x
You do a good job
Thank you for watching Tina, Anja x
I just bought the yarn kit for this blanket at Black Sheep Wool in the blue colors. How many chains do I cast one to make a baby blanket with this chunky yarn? I know to stop when it's long enough.
❤❤so beautiful
Thank you very much Anjana, Anja x
I love the idea of hiding ends in as you crochet along but I never have any luck with that ... I can always see the contrasting color coming thru making my work look sloppy and the ends always wind up coming out thru the stitches eventually.
Hello Dawn, try and run the ends of backwards and forwards in their own colour, it helps immensely, Anja x
Hello
Clear instructions.
Thanks
Absolutely gorgeous!
Also happy new year to you
Anja, I know it's been awhile since you made this, but can you tell me approximately how many yards of chunky yarn you used for your blanket. It's beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful tutorial!!
I used 30 balls of stylecraft chunky and they are 144m each....
@@OpheliaTalks Thank you very much!!
PS.. My tension is average, but I always go up at leadt one size. It just seems to work for me..
chain multiple of 14
I have worked this so many times a have pulled out so much but one end is not correct , it seems to be growing outwards not straight line like the other end. What am I doing wrong? ☹️☹️
It sounds to me Denise as if you're adding stitches somewhere, you need to keep a count now and then, just to check, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks yes I looked back to the first row and found it!! Lol this drives me crazy 🤦♀️
Clear and wonderful teaching. What is the name of the pack for this blanket please & thank you. 👼❤☕
you find all the information in the description bar below! it is the apres ski pack!
How to do the border?
Love this blanket - be nice to have a super warm blanket like that, but I live in Florida, so then I will need to refrigerate the house with the air conditioner so that I don't melt! Wondering if I did it with a much bigger hook, would it be loose enough to allow the extra heat from the body to escape? Or should I use a lighter yarn with the same hook?
Julie Enslow personally, I would go with a lighter yarn, even a 3 weight, and use the hook they recommend on the wrap. Unless of course, if you crochet tightly Or loosely, you’d want to adjust. It’s hot where I live too. That looks like a pretty warm blanket. I think if you try to do this pattern TOO loosely, you’re going to lose the effect, but a lighter yarn will for sure make it cooler. Hope this helps.

Thank you Mango T! I just saw this, but I was still thinking of this pattern. Lighter yarn it is. Hook to be determined after doing swatches.
@@julieenslow5915 No problem!
@@mangot589
Rather funny. A year later, and we can talk in minutes without knowing where we live - just knowing we still love crochet!
@@julieenslow5915 Yep🙂. The great unifier❤️
Lavori molto molto belli …. Peccato che non c’è traduzione in italiano 🤷♀️ ma molto belli
My name is tina BROWN
She stole this pattern, made one small change then took it as her own.!!!!!
So what about all the other tutorials from other people on the same chevron stitch? I just show people how to do it... Any problems with that? Thank you for watching Helen Forrestal ! Anja xxx 💕🌈
