Yeah, but Dashlane, LastPass, 1Password... they don't store the raw passwords. It's an encrypted dataset where the key for it is generated by your master password. Without it, the data is useless.
I just realized that people can hack your computer just by checking an e-mail, that's like playing a game on an infected server, it's the perfect coverup, and it seems so easy... imagine how many infected e-mails you could have clicked by this point.
thing is, would they really make a mistake like the misspelling fandation? that seems like too obvious of a slip up, considering how much planning went into this heist.. i'd say that those 30 transactions were set up to fail, a smoke screen if you will
Wire Transfer vs ACH. Wire's take about 10 minutes, cost money, and demand many eyes and verification--hence why so many of the wires were kicked back. Any Banker worth their salt would have red flagged it.
I have a very good feeling that after everything perfectly planned, they knew that not all the money was going to be processed. you can see why 30 of those transactions were sent to random but selected banks where they couldnt possibly lay their hands on but only 5 were to Philippines where they opened 4 accounts depositing $500 in the same branch, so that the accounts do not get terminated. it was highly likely that they were expecting 4 transactions to their legitimate accounts and the one which got rejected due to typo must have been intentional for some reasons. Therefore, leaving them with $81 million dollars.

IAmLucky™ same here in France. In the company I work not only it’s not allowed but it’s impossible due to the proxy which forbids a lot of websites

I would just hack DashLane... oh you have really tough cyber security? Okay well I'll just trick an employee into giving me their login, just like what happened in Bangladesh...

LOL
Damn, that transition to the sponsor was pretty damn smooth my guy
I have a very good feeling that after everything perfectly planned, they knew that not all the money was going to be processed. you can see why 30 of those transactions were sent to random but selected banks where they couldnt possibly lay their hands on but only 5 were to Philippines where they opened 4 accounts depositing $500 in the same branch, so that the accounts do not get terminated. it was highly likely that they were expecting 4 transactions to their legitimate accounts and the one which got rejected due to typo must have been intentional for some reasons. Therefore, leaving them with $81 million dollars.
and what was the purpose of this?
@@Koalemos552 To have more chances for the money transfers to go through

So they wouldn't get traced
I would say really accurate assumption and add i think the 4 account was the only intended targets in the end and well they do get what they wanted.
