- You don’t see many people on here comparing prices on parts and actually using them and seeing how reliable they can be compared to branded parts.
Today I discuss which drop kit is cheaper buying one complete or building your own with @eBay parts and I’ll be updating after a little while of having the kit on exactly how it rides and does, plus showing you how amazing this thing sits ; )

They make upper control arms with offset bushings to push the top of the tires back out, might just make bushings that do the same

Did you ever diagnose the shake? From other sources, a >4 in drop the yoke can butt up against the trans. Whatever it was hope the truck is going well. Thanks for your content
Yessir I’m pretty sure it’s the driveshaft angle, I have to shim it up. But trucks been down lately haven’t had time to messing with it and fixing everything.

Hey, if you have a video on it or provide some guidance on the drop spindle. I tried using a cheap amazon one and the upper control arm bolt will dig into the CV axle. I guess the remedy is to cut it shorter but by how much or more importantly, is that even safe?
I been searching on TH-cam but no one covers this. I appreciate any advice, you know what you’re doing and I know you reply to your comments. The bottom control arm needs about 1/2in cut off the bolt or minimum 20” rims in my experience with this Amazon one.

You will need to cut the bolt and yes it’s safe, but you will need the shallow locking nut to replace the bigger one that’s usually there.

But you may be able to also cut up to the nut you have now and still be fine as long as it’s locking and not a basic nut.
But yes the upper does need to be cut as well being the drop spindles are moving everything like axle and hub closer to the fender with out putting your control arms at a bad angle.
