@@lespaular Of course they did, it wouldn't even work if it was formatted in anything else. My concern is they formatted in fat32 using a small allocation unit size
I homebrewed my Old 2DS back in 2022 and I did not regret my decision one bit. I did, however, wait until the 3DS was effectively before I homebrewed my New 2DS, since that one used my actual Nintendo account instead of the secondary one I made to play Japanese Switch games. Nintendo hasn't gotten mad at me yet, so I think we're good~
When booting up my homebrewed 3DS, I have a splash screen installed to display before the home menu does. Why not give it a try? You can set it up through Anemone as well! It takes my 3DS a minute to boot up as well, so seeing the splash screen come on immediately lets me know that everything is working smoothly. Plus, its fun to see! :D
I've been in Japan for 3 weeks and leave tomorrow night. Bought quite a few things including 3x PSP games, 3x N3DS games, 2x NDS games, a "junk" PSP1000 & DS Lite, and I also scored a sick Super Saiyan Vegito figure from a raffle at a 7-Eleven. The DS Lite has been awesome for playing Mario Kart on public transport and when waiting in line at places. Had my Steam Deck with me but it didn't get tons of use unless I was relaxing in a hotel room or sitting on a shinkansen.
Sonic 1 and 2 actually DID get ports, they are called Sonic 1 3D (and 2 3D respectively) and the 3D is complete disable-able and you can download them right off of HShop. Im not sure why the Sonic 1/2 Decomp was even ported tbh
Just modded mine 2 days ago im someone with barely any experience with a pc but it was stupidly easy to mod my console i was rocking that gen 7 legendary theme but then switched to a totk one
That’s more or less my experience using Homebrew, and you’re right, there’s a lot more than just what I discussed; I just haven’t discovered or used everything.
If it takes you a minute to boot your 3DS I think you formatted your SD card wrong
I don’t think so, I checked several times when I was setting it up. Either way, it doesn’t really bother me.
@NintendoStuff3ddid u format it in FAT32?

@ wait tell me more about that that sounds really interesting
Usually it takes more time the bigger the sd is
I like that you use a original 3ds over the "new" ones
It’s much cheaper to use what I have than to buy something nicer that serves the exact same purpose.

Holy Jesus I've finally found you. I've been trying to search for you for so many months. I was the first man here. And after so long, I'm back.
Thanks, I’ve appreciated your comments from the beginning.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll set one up soon.

My mistake; I just assumed they weren’t ported before that, because that would make the fan ports useless.
@NintendoStuff3d Tbh there could be some feature/ benefit that the decomp port has over the officials, I'm no sonic expert. Great video
@jedimastu Thanks!
great vid I hope to see more like it!

:P You've barely scratched the surface.

I can't believe you play on THAT 3DS and enjoy it.
I play for the games, not the admittedly crappy hardware.
@NintendoStuff3d fair enough
The video is a bit quiet, you should turn it up, otherwise good video!
Thanks, I’ll make sure it’s a bit louder for my next video.
I use hacked 3ds 10years
Everyday play
I sent a really cool comment, but I guess it got auto moderated and I can’t see it 😢
Ok.
