This is a good video showing the steps on how to disassemble the firing pin . It's not a striker. Yes, it does strike the primer but a striker is a type of pistol . There are striker fired and hammer fired pistols, the Prodigy is a hammer fired pistol a glock is a striker fired pistol. A revolver is a handgun but it's not a pistol. It IS IMPORTANT to call an object by its correct name. ie; magazine and clip , two different items that both hold cartridges. Same with cartridges and bullets. Some interchange the terms but they are not the same items. Another example is a car wheel, the wheel is comprised of a rim and a tire. When you get a flat you don't change the tire you change the wheel. It's not nitpicking to use the correct term for an item. Using the correct name for an item promotes clarity of thought between the speaker and the listener. You put a lot of effort into making a very good demonstration of removing and replacing a firing pin and spring, I wish you had used the correct terms so those who watch this video later are not misled into thinking it is a striker. Try finding a replacement part by looking up a "Striker".
I was making a lot of videos that day and the video before this one I was showing how to disassemble the striker assembly for a different pistol so I accidentally was calling the firing pin the striker.

How to lose all credibility: call a firing pin a striker. A 1911/2011 does not have a striker. It has a firing pin and firing pin spring.
Potato, potato. 🫤
I think this guy sat on a firing pin or something
That's what I think. It's all the same. Thanks bro.
Sorry you feel that way. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a good day.
Sure, mistakes happen but if you followed along would you get the job done?
