- Winter Blackmouth has been announced to open back up again for 2022 and it is a great time to try jigging for these fish. As a recently newer technique for myself, I wanted to break down the simple gear to get started. Stay tuned and fish on!

Got my first king fishing for coho, 30 feet deep in 150 of water, nice 13 lb fish so don't think you always have to be at the bottom
I caught my first salty coho today was jigging 60’ saw a big mark swim at 30’ on the livescope went up to it and watched it live instantly hit

Of course they open it when it’s snowing lol. Out of curiosity how many days between Dec and March are you guys allowed to fish Salmon?
This year zero. They pushed out the season opener to be March 1st for 2024
@@HolyMolyOutdoors That’s crazy what they are doing to you guys down there. We on the other hand are allowed 2 a day thru the winter but we get shutdown April 1st until July 15th. It’s a load of BS
