@@SnowLily06 | I gave up on trying to Nuzlocke Sanqui seeds and started a casual Sanqui. Unless it gets "Use similar strength" one day, I'm just doomed to get bodied by the likes of Cinccino and early Dragon Rage. And forget about doing any combination of Hardcore, Itemless, and No Overgrinding. _(A Hardcore Nuzlocke is you have to succeed at all legal catches and you have to do the run deathless. "Itemless + No Overgrinding" is just a combination of two popular addons that only the easily impressed would call "Hardcore".)_

Emerald kaizo is realistic to what it’d be like if Pokémon were real, minus the legendaries. Everyone actually knows how to battle and use actually good Pokémon rather than spamming Rattatas and Pidgeys.

@@neowolf09 deserves as in you need badges for the pokemon to follow you. Meaning that they were tactical enough to receive atleast 2-4 badges(i forgot how many you needed for level 30)

I got to that hellish Mewtwo, then it killed my Sceptile and swept the rest of my team.
On an unrelated note, I haven't picked a Water type starter since Black and White, where I obviously had to choose Oshawott.
Gen V was the last I felt obliged to choose the water type starter because I didn't like any of the full evolved starter designs all that much at all. But Samurott was the best but only barely so imo.
I'm playing it atm taking a break from maxies resting dusclopes for a few weeks that just pain

It became easier after I changed Slaking's ability into early bird after teaching it rest.

Emerald kaizo in 2 seconds: very hard
To be fair, if the "best nuzlocker in the world" decided to use standard nuzlocke rules instead of hardcore ones he would have beaten it ages ago. But where's the fun in that eh?
Most people would be able to regular nuzlocke it given enough patience, just train your relevant Pokemon to level 100 before any meaningful fight and you wouldn't have much difficulty until the Elite Four.
@@mvjbass9561 Well, that level of patience, or just the patience needed in just a single attempt of Emerald Kaizo, is not something that many people have. If you’ve seen Pokemon Challenges’ streams, he can spend upwards of 15 minutes teambuilding for just random trainer fights, including the ones on Victory Road where he has a full team of 6 level 100s.

I don't Nuzlocke or speed run, but you are tempting me to try it. If there's any game I'd be able to rush a run through on extreme hard mode it'd be emerald. Don't think I'd set records for a "fastest time" but like a game based on emerald notorious for being hard is just begging me to play it and see how fast I can beat the game then

I actually nuzlocked this game. It took me 209 tries and 6 months to complete.
I'm still going back to nuzlocke this game. My first attempt reached me into the Whismur cave, the 2nd got me to Mauville but then I got bored. I think I'll start a fresh run soon.
I've played harder games but it could be that shit just hasn't hit the fan yet.
