@@QuizmasterLaw I would say no, just because the tears are more than just water and are very complex, if you don't get the pH just right or introduce a contaminant. you could hurt the eye
If this seems complicated, understand that it is complicated for eye doctors as well. Dr. Allen has done an excellent job of explaining dry eye, something that everyone over 40 has to some degree, and it gets worse as we get older. Dry eyes may cause pain and variable vision, but an eye examination is needed to rule out other causes. Your eye doctor will likely give you a sample of the eyedrops he or she thinks will work best for your dry eye problem. Ask about the ones Dr. Allen talks about in this video.
Have dry eyes for over a decade, i am 21 male, and went through too many different eye drops, the one i recommend for anyone but ESPECIALLY for moderate-severe dry eyes like me, is Systane Complete Preservative Free 2 pack
I have to use liquid gel, because it stays on my eyes longer than the artificial tears. Plus I use soothe ointment, I have also used liposic. I do the drops every 2hrs, to try and keep my eyes as lubricated and comfortable as possible.
I was told by an eye doctor I have dry eyes and they have gotten worse. Mine is from medication. Many of them or most of the eye drops you mentioned do not work for me. It might be because I have metal toxicity from an orthopedic implant. I use similasan for dry eyes it works for me. It is preservative free.
My choice of eye drops for mixed dry eye is Systane gel drops during the day and Systane eye ointment at night . Another tool that I use is press and seal Glad sealing wrap over both eyes each night which prevents air from coming in my eye ( lids don't closes tight ) .
I tried so many otc drops including some of the ones in the video. Most of them burned so bad I couldn't use them. I started using oasis tears pf plus and it was amazing how well they worked. They come in a special bottle now. I have to use them several times a day especially if I'm in the sun.

The best I've found is a mix 2 to1 salt to baking soda mixture. About 1/8 tsp into a little warm water to disolve salt. Add a little cool water and rinse eyes. I have a squeeze bottle I bought for sinus relief, but works great for rinsing eyes as well. Eyes feel better instantly. Use throughout the day as needed. Eye drops irritate my eyes after a while. I have sjogrens syndrome.
I had wonderful results for eye irritation/dry eye following cataract surgery for several months- - acupuncture. I had two sessions in August and am still pain free!

Thank you Doc! I've been having some serious sharp pain in my eye for the last 48hrs and this helped immensely. The difference in pain is like night and day. This just confirms I have a dry eye issue that my doctor hasn't addressed.
Thank you for saying this. I was diagnosed about a month ago after having covid and bacterial conjunctivitis. I joined a dry eye support group, and while some info was helpful, a lot was creating fear that my life was over and this was permanent. Since I started using the warm compresses and the Systane complete, I have so much relief..both physically and mentally. So thankful for Dr. Allen.
Doctor Allen,l used eye drops "systane Hydration" since May 2019.The price in West Malaysia is RM(ringgit Malaysia) 24 or roughly USD 5 .My lady eye specialist suggested it after she examine my dry eyes in May 2019. She advised me to abstain watching movies in my youtube computer screen and using hp for sometimes. l followed her advices. After using the eye drops for roughly 1 month,my eyes burning and pain symptoms decrease and disappeared.
I am excited to try nano dropper. I love Lumify. My eyes used to look a little yellow, but they make my eyes look white and bright. I love it. I wear lash extensions, so I would need eye drops without oil.
A real breath of fresh air this guy. Informative and easy on the ears plus has some conditions himself so he has tried several of the recommendations for our uses
I discovered that pure castor oil usually works best for me. It's usually sold as a laxative, but I put it in eye drop bottles and keep it in the fridge.
I have been using Similasan Complete eye relief since you mentioned this a while back. I like it pretty well but there are days NOTHING seems to help my seriously dry eyes. I also bought Pataday which is really expensive but i use it only on days my eyes are really itchy. I love that Nano dropper and plan on getting one. Thank you for that information. I have been aggravated with how much comes out of some eye drops. Similasan is better with the extended tube. I have recently come up with my own crazy hack...i always hated how my drops are cold and it seems they dont absorb as well. Soooo ...i put my drops in my bra!!! to keep them warm and i promise they seem to absorb better and i dont use as much. Works for me. Thank you as always for your awesome videos to help us all have better eyes. I am finally getting to a Opthamologist surgeon to have him look at what is really causing how badly dry my eyes are and have just gotten worse in the last 14 yrs. I cannot put ANY eye makeup on at all, not even undereye coverage because my eyes water some days uncontrollably and then any thing near my eye gets in and makes them burn more and water even more. I really live some miserable days with them. Just spend the whole day dabbing at them. I try to keep my apt as clean and dust free as possible and with moisture but not too much. I have tried everything. I would like to maybe try the plugs.
I've suffered with dry eyes for so many years and I wear glasses. I have complained until I stop and not one optometrist has ever mentioned any of those things that you've talk about I've never heard any of those names, they went to school they should know these things, why wouldn't they tell their patients to help them?....It doesn't make any sense at all. Thank you so much for some insight on this debacle.
Thank you so much for mentioning this!!! I think a major part of it is that many doctors don’t feel they have time to discuss all of this. I often get behind in clinic because I like to teach and ask questions. I also spend a lot of my free time researching and trying to learn everything I can do I can make these videos to the best degree, so I would not be surprised if not all doctors know this much detail. But at the same time, there are many intelligent and gifted doctors out there, you may just need to seek them out. I am blessed to have several mentors who have pushed me to be the doctor I am today, I still feel I have so much more to learn. I do hope that you are able to find a doctor who will listen and help you get the treatment you deserve.
@@DoctorEyeHealth I am beyond surprised to get a response from you Doctor, but I've been around a lot longer than you have, and I seriously believe that a lot of people who decided to become Doctors should never be Doctors because they don't have the right attitude the diligence, and the dedication, that is needed for the job, I feel like they're not in it for the right reasons, my mother always told me that whatever you do you should do it well. My remarks is not just for Doctors it applies to everyone who didn't choose the profession that they're best suited for. Thank you for your desire to make a difference in people's lives it means a lot to people who has given up on finding solutions like I did. And the tips that you give on instilling the drops in one's eyes is extremely helpful because no other Doctor ever thought of telling one these vital things so they end up instilling drops every ten minutes, my daughter busted the stitches in her eye after surgery, because she didn't know how to properly instill the drops, and she's a bit crazy about putting things in her eyes😅😅😅 so I sent her both Articles, thanks a gazillion for. caring ❤ You are a special man thank you so much.

I have mostly evaporative dry eye and have tried many drops and my favorites are Retaine MGD and Refresh Optive Mega-3. I buy the single use droppers but snap the twist off top back on to get multiple uses.
Wow, I didn't know you could put the top back on. Maybe I will splurge for the single-use droppers now that I know that. I use drops at least twice a day, so I wouldn't be saving them for reuse for longer than a 24-hours period, so surely it would be safe.
I am so happy I found this channel! I recently started struggling with my eyes. When I go outside or any type of wind blows unto my eyes they would start to tear up. An ophthalmologist friend suggested I try some natural tears as it sounds like dry eyes but I was so overwhelmed by all of the different types of drops and not knowing what is what. The drops helped to some extent but now I know which drops to buy. I already ordered my Bruder Heat Compress mask and feel excited about getting the new eye drops. As a research student I am now aware that I have not been blinking enough! I now make an effort to blink more often and it really feels like it is working. I love this channel! Thank you, Dr Allen!
I was diagnosed with blepharitis. My doctor recommended Systane Balance for the day time and GenTeal moderate for the night time. I prefer just to use the GenTeal moderate. This was several years ago.
I have same problem for many years, both eyes glued shut having to use fingers to prise open, often stub feet on something during night whilst dashing to the loo for a pee. Also suffer from Bletheritis which is a double whammy!!!
@@janetlester7694 I grew up with a pretty bad case of blepharitis. Learned how to put my own eye drops in by the time I was eight. And I used to wake up with my eyes stuck together like that too. Thankfully, while the blepharitis is not nearly as bad, I have found eye drops and wipes that help me keep my eyelids and lashes clean. The products that Dr Allen recommends are the ones that I find most helpful as well. Good luck getting improvement on your blepharitis. I know it's annoying.
I have extreme dry eye after LASIK. I've used every drop on the market I can find, but settled on Systane Ultra. It works, better than everything else I've tried. What would be other drops similar to them?
Can I ask which eye cream you would recommend? I feel after massaging my eyes that the eyelids are feeling a little dry. I want to avoid my face creams due to the risk of adding to clogging any glands. Would you recommend any? Thank you, I really enjoy your videos they are really helpful
I have mixed dry eyes. Using restasis , punctual plugs, castor oil at bedtime, electric eye mask with message and am about 50% better. The eye dr. Encouraged me to not give up because corneal damage from dry eye is really difficult to treat.
Last year I had cross-linking surgery done to treat keratoconus. I was given Refresh Mega 3 to use for my post-op care, but even that didn't help with the dryness and irritation that I developed. Then my eye doctor prescribed Blink Gel tears, which worked much better than any other eye drops I've tried before.
Have been using Systane Hydration and loved the way it feels compared to Walgreens brand, but just today tried Refresh Mega-3 and it feels amazing under my contacts
@@joshawalister4657 I put a drop on the back of each contact before inserting them. But if I need drops later, I put them in with my contacts already in. If my eyes are feeling particularly dry - I will remove the contacts and put a drop behind them again. I hope this helps.

I just took my mom to the eye doctor and he gave her Lotemax and told her to come back; he didn’t even tell her it’s a steroid! He just told her she has dry eyes! I will share this video with her and hope one of this drops you mentioned will help her!
I love your videos! I use Restasis. It’s the only drop I’ve used that sticks to the eye and doesn’t sting or burn like other eye drops. I’m good to go for 12 hours. Only problem is they are very expensive if you don’t have insurance.
Thera Tears Dry Eye Therapy is the *best!* I have an autoimmune disorder but my Dr also said my tears evaporated too quickly. I'm also taking prescription Xiidra drops & these have been a game changer. The Thera Tears help out a ton though.
Thank you for such an informative video. I have had dry eyes for many years...the evaporative type according to my doctor. But since my cataract surgery a few months ago, the problem has been even worse.
I have tried refresh mega 3 and systane complete amongst others. The first couple times I use them it's ok and they last for about 15 minutes but the more I use them my eyes start to burn.
I've been dealing with dry eye for a decade now. Unfortunately no over the counter drops really provide much relief at all outside of a few minutes of comfort. I was told a while back by an eye specialist that I have evaporative dry eye. I'm currently using Systane Complete but it doesn't do much for me. Trying Carbomer drops next. Hopefully those help...
Hi doctor I use the Bio true and the moist eye gel mask ...and I use Holy water it seems to be helping me. You did say we can use drops 3 to 4 times a day is that too much Bio true and I use Bio true cleanings wipes love ,love.
Ask your eye Dr for a prescription of *Xiidra*. OTC. *Thera Tears* have helped me a lot, but nothing compares to the *Xiidra* drops. I have tried every drop at the store. It's ridiculous that eye drops are so expensive.
I am taking this eye drop:Sodium Hyaluronate eye drops-SOHA 0.1% sly-10 ml. I am 87-88 yrs old and both my eyes had cataract surgery by lens implanted. There is no vision problem, but itchy.
I've been reading that boric acid isn't good for our eyes. I noticed that the Refresh Optix Mega-3 has boric acid on the list of ingredients. Apparently it's used as a preservative, but not required to be called a preservative, which is why they can say those drops are "preservative free." Would you please consider doing a video on the risks vs benefits of using eye drops containing boric acid? Thanks so much!
I have severe dry eyes I use Genteal lubricant at night put it on my lower eyelid and go to bed. the gel melts over the night and by morning no painful dry eyes. I use it 2x a week then I won't need it for a while. Also, use the Genteal gel drops.
Thank you for the video! I've already been using Refresh Optive Mega-3 for my Evaporative Dry Eye. I want to try Retaine as well thanks to another video of yours. I recently found out that I have nearly all of my Meibomian glands gone/dead. I'm also using Oasis Tears Plus to soothe and I like those if only for that reason. Are there any other treatments for 80 to 90% lack of glands? Thanks again!
I have used pure castor oil for years without any problem. It makes the eye lashes grow, after my cataract operation I found it irritated my eyes so I use it on the lids only.
I switch off, but use primarily Sustane Ultra PF, Thera-tears PF with Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and mainly B&L Smoothe PF. Why, they are slightly less expensive.
Can you have a reaction from artificial with castor oil. I use Systane Hydration PF , but i still have mild blurred vision in distance and light bothers me.My closeup vision is excellent.
Thank you so much for the informative video! Question: If I am going to use both 1) Systane Hydration Pf (for aqueous deficient) and 2) Refresh Optive Mega-3 (for evaporative), which one should I apply first? Any particular order should be followed? I appreciate your time in advance.
Love your informative video, I was also wondering if you might consider making a video with pinguecula Information and eye care and also pterygium care for the eyes. What helps with taking the redness away. Thank you in advance very much.
Thank you for the breakdown of different eye dryness and what to look for for the specific issues and to explain about the preservatives that are used and the different brands!!! Wish you’re my eye dr❣️❣️ thank you !!!
Right now my favorite drops are Systane preservative free. I have tried Retaine and had more gunk and redder eyes. Refresh-Omega 3 made my eyes feel like they’re puckering up. My biggest problem is allergies this time of year. I take oral meds constantly and my eyes are dryer and redder. I finally got in to see my eye doc. She put me on prednisone drops for a short time and my eyes feel so much better and not red. I am starting to tapper off and wonder what drops will work for my allergies.
Great information Doc. I have open angle glaucoma and also wear RGP lenses and my eyes and lids stay red 24/7. I hadn’t found a drop that works great yet. I’ll give a few of these a try and see how it goes. I generally use a ton of lumify to try and mask the redness. It sounds like that’s definitely not the way to go. Thanks again.
I also have glaucoma and related eye drop medication dries my eyes. I use Hycosan. On another note, I had to give up wearing contact lenses so may have been susceptible to dry eye before glaucoma.
I've had dry eyes for almost as long as I can remember. (I think it's bc I had a severe eye infection as a baby where my tear ducts were clogged and the doctors had to put tubes in them.) There's always a dry burning feeling on the surfaces of my eyes -- it's so irritating. No eye doctors have ever told me what's causing my dry eye, and I had no idea there were all these different factors at play! Lately, I've been alternating between Bausch and Lomb XP and Blink Gel Tears, but neither of them seem to do the trick. Thank you for making this so I can know what questions to ask next time!
So, from what I see it's not only me who goes to weird doctor that I can find much more info by searching instead. Anyway u may need to visit one now and ask for some kind of antibiotics to help if u have inflammation and check ur lipd and tears gland. There is a lipd flow device that heat up the eye to help, and eye blug to keep the eye from losing tears around. U can ask me if u didn't understan. Good luck.
@@sdamd1303 Thanks for the concern and for the tips! The device sounds really interesting! Recently I went to an eye doctor who looked more deeply into my dry eye issue. He said the issue is not with the oil (lipid) production, which is normal for me. It's actually just the aqueous (water layer). My eyes just don't produce enough water to stay lubricated. The other problem is that my eyes are partially open at night. He recommended a nighttime gel that I have to put into my lower eye lid before bedtime. It makes my vision super blurry, but it helps moisturize my eyes while I sleep. It's been great! I don't feel dry eye pain for most of the day when I use the gel. I still have to use eye drops like 5-6 times a day to feel comfortable tho. My doctor said if the dry eye gets to be too much, there's a medication I can take to try and increase my tear production. Thank you for your help and recommendation tho!
I have not had much success with my dry eyes. I have tried several different kinds and a lot of the products burn my eyes and irritate them. Plus I still wake up with my eyes stuck to my eyelids. Feels like my eyes surface is being ripped off. I do have auto immune diseases so now I am going to try and find the drops you recommended.
Thank you for the video. It is interesting to learn the different types of dry eyes. I have also been suffering from dry eyes. Although I went to the doctor, I was not informed of my type of dry eye and that is kinda difficult to choose the right eye drops. Right now, I am now using Cationorm eye drops and it seems effective in reducing the discomfort. Anyways, I have a couple of questions: (1) Is it alright if I use different brands of eye drops sequentially, for example, if I use Refresh daily and opt for Cationorm once a week. (2) Can I continue using the eye drops after one month of opening? I don't normally use up all the eye drops after one month and therefore wonder if the trick of saving 70% of the eye drops is necessary. Thank you.
Hi Dr. Allen, I have been diagnosed with severe MGD recently. I understand you are you in Minnesota. Where is your eye clinic located? I’d like to come to see you. I hope you’re taking new patient. Thank you for all your videos! I learned so much from you! ❤️
Thank you I have had such a time with wrong eye drops burning. I just gave up and suffered through. The eye dr said just keep trying them until I found one that worked. Not helpful. Then I found your information and I tried the Systane Complete and just found it so helpful. Felt like pebbles washed out of my eyes. Thank you for your help.
I am suffering from dry eyes for almost 4 months. Per my doctor's advice I appĺied KARY UNI eye drops but my eyes are still sick. I like to try REFRESH OR SYSTANE EYE DROPS. Please tell me how to order and how.much is the cost. Many thanks
I had Lasik and both times my corneas dried out to the point of wrinkling up and having to be ironed out! I had moderate dry eye before surgery but afterwards it is much worse. I have tried every eyedrop made and so far I like Rohto Dry Aid the best.
I have been Sjogren syndrome, now I have Ikervis once a day at night and have serum on day time.I feel my symptoms is bad in someday. Then I change the serum to vislube for a few days,I feel better.
Experienced some dry eye symptoms after LASEK but I later realized I probably had them prior to surgery (just never knew because I always wore contacts). I also discovered that actually sleep with my eyes partially open haha, who knew Blink PF has been a good one for me! Contains polyethlene glycol and sodium hyaluronate
Its really important to have those eyes lubricated good if they are partially open at night. I know because I went through something like that years ago. They can get seriously damaged if they don't blink at night and keep lubricated.
I use Systane complete dry eyes drops then at night I use ice cool mask for dry eyes red eyes allergy itchy eyes. I will be going for cataract surgery soon once I get my appts. Thank you for your video very educational. Many of your suggestions for use in your eyes are great. ❤👍❤🌺🌺🌺🥰
I had a very bad case of dry eyes, which developed over a period of a few years. I've tried many different kinds of eye drops but with very limited benefit. Finally, I decided to take nutritional supplements, such as eyebright extract, lutein, and zeaxanthin, fish oil, as well as multivitamins. In a couple of weeks, my dry eye was gone! I've been taken eye supplements for 3 or 4 years now and have no dry eye problem at all! It makes much more sense to take a dietary ingredient to restore certain body functions because as we age, such normally body-produced supplements are gradually decreasing and therefore problems occur. Try it and I am sure you will like it!
Hello Doctor, I am seventy years old and my eyes are chronically dry. It is said that eye drops may increase the opacity of the eye and may worsen cataract. My ophthalmologist keeps on prescribing me eye drops waiting for the cataract to mature and I am a little bit on the defensive. What’s your opinion? Thank you
I'm in the US and I order EvoTears from Europe. Perfluorohexiloctane has no water, so it's preservative-free and they feel like liquid silk. After years of misery and taking prescription Xiidra and Restasis every day, nothing has made as much of a difference.
My sister used to pour bottled water in the cap and put it on her eyes, I was horrified & gave her my eye drops lol I used to use systane but switched to bio true but think im going to switch back because I hate the packaging for bioture it’s hard to squeeze but the eye drops themselves are refreshing. Also sometimes I put my eye drops in the fridge take them out wait a little & use them, it’s great
Thank You ~ New subscriber here! I'm glad I found this video! I've put about 30-40 drops in my eye today, way more than I normally would...but there are days where I use a LOT. I didn't know how dangerous that could be. However, I am going nuts feeling like I have a hair in my eye. Each time I go to the eye dr....they never find any...except once, and they used a needle to 'dig' it out. I could literally see the hair...before surgery and for a couple years after! I have R.A. and Dermatomyositis and Sarcoidosis. I've tried a lot of different brands of drops, can't say ANY are very helpful so far. But THANK YOU for describing the 3 different types of dry eye...was never told that!! My Schrimmer test was 6 last time they checked...but I have felt much drier than that since.
Hi Dr. Allen--I just came upon your series & find it very helpful. About 10 yrs. ago I had a retinal tear which was fixed by "stapling" it back together. I've had dry eyes in that eye only for a long time. Can that cause it? Thank you again, Julie
Hey, just want to know you have been a great help in my dry eye knowledge. I would love a video explaining more about you and your journey! Like how you decided to be an optometrist and how med school was like. Anyways, keep up the good work my dude!
I've been using Siccaforte Eye Gel at night for severe dry eyes for about a year now. It has really helped but sometimes my vision is not real good. Do you know anything about this medication?
Thank you! My optometrist told me I probably have dry eyes and need drops, and he just kind of hand waved and said "Get whatever is preservative free, they're all the same." Eight months later, after trying at least a dozen times of drops, Systane Soothe XP during the day with Rephresh PM ointment seems to be the only thing that works for me. Other drops never actually made my blurry vision immediately better but these do. Not sure what that means about what kind of dry eye I have, but I will take it.

Thanks for the kind review, Kelly!
Question: I had cataract surgery 5 years ago. Which of these eyedrops can I use for dry eyes?? (Thank you Dr.Eye Health : )

I am beyond surprised to get a response from you Doctor, but I've been around a lot longer than you have, and I seriously believe that a lot of people who decided to become Doctors should never be Doctors because they don't have the right attitude the diligence, and the dedication, that is needed for the job, I feel like they're not in it for the right reasons, my mother always told me that whatever you do you should do it well.
My remarks is not just for Doctors it applies to everyone who didn't choose the profession that they're best suited for.
Thank you for your desire to make a difference in people's lives it means a lot to people who has given up on finding solutions like I did.
And the tips that you give on instilling the drops in one's eyes is extremely helpful because no other Doctor ever thought of telling one these vital things so they end up instilling drops every ten minutes, my daughter busted the stitches in her eye after surgery, because she didn't know how to properly instill the drops, and she's a bit crazy about putting things in her eyes😅😅😅 so I sent her both Articles, thanks a gazillion for. caring ❤
You are a special man thank you so much.
Still you suffering and using drops
@@DoctorEyeHealth -Glad to hear that..I wish you were my eye doctor !
I will follow your channel and check out some more of your teachings so that we can learn from you. Keep up the good work!!
I'd look to see your top recommendations for eye balms to keep eyes moist at night. Waking up is sometimes difficult since my eyes are so dried shut.
I have same problem for many years, both eyes glued shut having to use fingers to prise open, often stub feet on something during night whilst dashing to the loo for a pee. Also suffer from Bletheritis which is a double whammy!!!
You can use systane gel drops for extra protection
@@janetlester7694 I grew up with a pretty bad case of blepharitis. Learned how to put my own eye drops in by the time I was eight. And I used to wake up with my eyes stuck together like that too. Thankfully, while the blepharitis is not nearly as bad, I have found eye drops and wipes that help me keep my eyelids and lashes clean. The products that Dr Allen recommends are the ones that I find most helpful as well. Good luck getting improvement on your blepharitis. I know it's annoying.
@@sharmainedaza5861 yes it works perfectly I used it every night
SUCH a great video! Love your explanation about the tyes of dry eye. So important to recognize that there is no one drop fits all approach.
Great info, what works best for me is Refresh Liquigel which seems to make my eyes feel best. Then I use Systane Nighttime Ointment
Happy to hear you like them!
Do i have to take contacts out first or can I use it while theyre in?

Very true! They can get spendy. There are some generic options now but they have slightly different formulations
I was told to get preservative free, from my eye specialist. Because I have dry eye disease. I have restasis . Love this video thanks very help.
I had a cornea transplant 2 years ago and then cataract surgery..can you give me a idea for some good drops..I am using regular Systane
Thera Tears Dry Eye Therapy is the *best!* I have an autoimmune disorder but my Dr also said my tears evaporated too quickly. I'm also taking prescription Xiidra drops & these have been a game changer. The Thera Tears help out a ton though.
Yes! Thera Tears works good too! Glad to hear things are going well for you!

I love Systane Complete! When I’m wearing my contacts though, I go for refresh preservative free because I usually have to use them more often!
I have not found any drops that help they dry out my eyes more
I have severe dry eyes I use Genteal lubricant at night put it on my lower eyelid and go to bed. the gel melts over the night and by morning no painful dry eyes.
Hi! How are you now?
Have you tried lipiflow? Pretty expense and insurence doesn’t cover it. But worth it. I have done it with my income tax money in the spring
I have used pure castor oil for years without any problem. It makes the eye lashes grow, after my cataract operation I found it irritated my eyes so I use it on the lids only.
I love Hyco San Extra with sodium hyaluronate for severe dry eye. From Germany via Amazon.
I switch off, but use primarily Sustane Ultra PF, Thera-tears PF with Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and mainly B&L Smoothe PF. Why, they are slightly less expensive.
Can you please do a video on adult blocked tear ducts and the proper massage technique to get them going again!
Refresh Celluvisc, Lubricant Eye Gel, thick base. I found this product to be soothing and helped my dry eyes. I purchased this product at Amazon.
Are these ok to use while weariing contacts? Or before or after? I am.leaning towards.the sustane comple one.
Thank you so much! I had Bell’s Palsy which caused dry eyes. I am using Systane Complete & warm compress and improved!
Can you have a reaction from artificial with castor oil. I use Systane Hydration PF , but i still have mild blurred vision in distance and light bothers me.My closeup vision is excellent.
Propylene glycol is antifreeze and that bothers me alot to think I'm putting antifreeze in my eye

Here’s a question. How does a lower blephroplasty affect the meibomian glands? Can it damage them permanently?

I have severe dry eyes and glaucoma. The very best of the best drops are celluvisc for me. When I’m doing ok I use refresh relieva.
Some of these drops state glaucoma as a contraindications
Which one did you try? Any off those work?
Tried Thera tears extra dry therapy
Can you please make a video to cover Visian ICL? very interested to understand this and compare with LasiK/PRK.
Thank you.

My ophthalmologist keeps on prescribing me eye drops waiting for the cataract to mature and I am a little bit on the defensive. What’s your opinion? Thank you
Which EU available drops would you recommend? (apart from Systane Complete, which is available)
The fridge trick is great because they are cold and you can feel when you get them in!
But THANK YOU for describing the 3 different types of dry eye...was never told that!! My Schrimmer test was 6 last time they checked...but I have felt much drier than that since.

Eight months later, after trying at least a dozen times of drops, Systane Soothe XP during the day with Rephresh PM ointment seems to be the only thing that works for me.
