I believe the improvements to the g5 overall from the previous gens truly make it worth its price tag now.

I believe the 15's may be worth it! I swore I would never spend that much on a light but its only 55 bucks more than ai hydra 32 and out preforms it like crazy. Its when ya jump up to the 30's is when it gets crazy. They actually double the price. Never heard of that! Hydra 64 is about 185.00 cheaper, maybe more than the 30! That sure adds up buying multiple fixtures! JUst wish the mounts came with it or were less than 95 bucks a pop. Might figure out a dyi for my hubbby! haha

I have a question because I’m a freshwater guy and you explain things so well what kind of par is needed for corals and does that much light affect the fish I also don’t do planted tanks African cichlids tend to eat everything green they love it

Scott Gleason Really depends on the type of coral. Generalizations here Softies can have success below 150 PAR, LPS 150-250, SPS 250-500

I’m only buying stuff made in the UK but so cool the GEN 5 PCB was populated in the USA using Asian parts and probably a board printed in Shenzhen ha ha
