These are brilliant guys - I had knee bursitis episodes for years without a proper diagnosis. I’m a runner and need to keep getting out there to regulate my mental health . The pain at times and lack of mobility has put me in a very low place . If only I’d seen these guys videos earlier . I get it now and that the strengthening exercises are what’s needed to decrease pain and build the surrounding muscle …. I’m now back out running again 6 mile distances 🎉🎉.thanks so much

I just love you guys. Pes Anserine Bursitis has been a problem for me for years. When I talk to a doctor about it their eyes glaze over and they tell me I don’t but offer no other diagnosis for what is happening. In my 50s when it first happened, the orthopedist said a versa sack had burst. I tell that to every other orthopedist I’ve been to since and they pretty much just ignore me. I just had TKR and it’s almost unbearable now. I’ve gotten so frustrated. All the physical therapy for my knee has totally aggravated it. Wish I was close to you guys. I fell y’all could help me. I haven’t given up yet. I’m going to try your stretches and exercises. ❤❤❤. Sending my love and prayers to Bob.

I broke my left ankle last month, and a week after the injury, I was trying out an iWalk 3. I went to back up and didn't pick the foot up high enough and ended up tipping backward. To protect the broken ankle, I took the fall on my right leg. I already was recovering from hamstring tendonitis and bursitis in that knee from before the fracture.
According to the orthopedist, I actually sprained all my bursa. Trying to walk in any manner was terribly painful.
I discovered your videos and have been trying your exercises, as I am able, to rehab the ankle and the knee.
Thankyou for putting these demos on youtube :) they really do help!

I have gone to the doctor and been confirmed that i have bursitis in both my knees. I wasnt told theres different kinds. Mine hurts on the front and the top. When i kneel now, it feels like i have knee pads on. Ive had this for about 5 months and didnt think much of it untill about 2 months ago when they started to hurt. Im so glad i found your videos thank you so much for explaining more about what it is, and these excercises are awesome. Ill be starting a routine. Im a runner and really miss running. Hi, Bob and Brad, From your other video on causes of knee pain, I think the problem is infrapatellar bursitis and I have tenderness in the pes anserine area when pressing on it. I'm not sure if the pes anserine contributes to pain while kneeling. I can kneel sitting back onto my calves, but as soon as that knee is on the floor and the femur at a right angle to the floor, that's when it's very painful. Any exercise suggestions for this type of kneeling knee pain specifically? Thank you!

When I was diagnosed with bursitis a couple of years ago due to some running overtraining, I was also told that my kneecaps sit very high and was given some exercises to try and loosen/lengthen my quad muscles.
I’ve got lazy with my stretching during my triathlon training and my bursitis has flared up a bit again. As well as stretching more consistently, I also want to do some exercises to stretch out/strengthen my quads. Do you guys have a video around this?
    Appreciate it!

For Calf stretching what should someone do if their calf muscles don’t extend or release when stretching for at least 30 minutes? Also, what should one do if their calves are fully tensed up again less than a day after a 45 minute stretch? Sorry for the long question but I wanted to ask if you guys have any tips for repetitively tight calves that have even caused sciatica due to poor nerve flossing? Thanks for your time

I just recently started working out about a month ago with losing weight as my main goal. I switched from training 1 body part a week (bro split) to full body training 3 days a week after the first two weeks. So I went from squatting 1 day a week to 3 days a week. Im 1 month into training. Im making great progress with losing weight, getting stronger, and more flexibility. I'm also currently light jogging for about 20 min everyday at speed 5mph on treadmill. However, since I switched to full body and increased my squatting volume, I think I tweaked both my knees. I diagnosed myself with pes anserine bursitis because of the exact location of the pain on both knees. about 2 inches below the knee on the inside of the leg, almost on the top (and inside) of the shin bone. It feels like a bruise when I jog in about a quarter sized spot. 1st question: Can I train through the pain if Im able to? 2nd question: How long will this issue take to dissipate? Even after I felt the initial discomfort I still continued to train the next 4 days and jogging also. As an athlete I am familiar with training while being hurt or sore but also I know your not supposed to train when Injured and I'm not sure if I'm making it worst or not.

don’t exercise with bursitis, it’s hard but rest is best for it. I didn’t rest early enough and lead to MCL tear. I’m 2 months into resting and symptoms of bursitis is still there, it varies for everyone though(takes longer the longer you do not rest). Doctors can prescribe anti inflammatories which sped up healing for me a lot

Treating it as bursitis is working out so far, so I think it is the correct diagnosis in my case. Maybe it is too in yours, but asking for a second opinion while taking care of your knee as if you had bursitis won't hurt.
