I had the immense privilege of sitting next to Lucy and Martha’s mum, Louise when they performed this live to close out the first half of Lucy’s concert in Manchester back in March, needless to say they absolutely smashed it!
As a long time follower and fan but the other side of the planet Australia that is one one video i am especially looking forward to and seeing how much more they can do with it now their voices have both matured so much. I am jealous of you but congratulations on the opportunity you had.

I had the equally great privilege of sitting on the second row at the concert, right in front of the girls. Magnificent!
This, to me, is one of the most beautiful versions of this song, if not THE most beautiful. This is upper class singing.
"She sings things right " that is just about the best compliment I have ever heard given to any singer.
Everyone who has reacted to this incredible rendition were also speechless. These two young singers don't shy away from anything. To take this on was impressive and it's been said it's one of --- if not the best rendition of this song and Lucy was seventeen and Martha twelve years old when they recorded it.
Truely talented sisters and they have many more duets to enjoy.
Great reaction Zack, of course the truly amazing thing is how two teenage young ladies can perform at this level. I mean this is a world class performance which any seasoned professional singer would be delighted with.

By some margin, my favourite rendition of 'The Prayer,' and in my top ten of Lucy videos. Like you, Zack, I find it difficult to articulate the emotional impact that this video has on me. Sibling harmony with two such beautiful voices is just breathtaking! 😃

For Celine and Andrea it was another day on the job. What Lucy and Martha added to the song is child purity and sincerity. It is why it is so emotional🥰👍♥️👏
Your ending sigh...yes...me, too! I don't know how many times I've watched & listened to this, but it can never, ever be enough. They are so absolutely great, together, and they carry all of the emotions all the way through. I sighed at almost exactly the same time you did, at the end. I'd rather it never DID end, but...again...it's OK...I can go back and listen again...and again...and again.

Stunningly deep and beautiful. Martha is outstanding! Such a beautiful voice. Lucy is beyond compare and in a class of her own. When these two sisters harmonize their voices, they bring a bit of Heaven to this Earth.

They are moving, incredible, and nearly impossible to adequately express the emotions that they engender. In my opinion, this is the loveliest and most moving version ever recorded. Truly amazing young ladies.

Heavenly. From the first note I could see you were enjoying it, the little smile and the glint in your eyes. Martha, for a part time singer and being so much younger than Lucy, is incredibly good at singing the harmonies. You have picked up on Lucy’s style of staying very close to the original, with the odd variation, but that’s because she has the voice to deliver the song without needing to stray away from the original. ❤
Thanks for the insightful and intelligent reaction. These two girls are absolutely top drawer. Their real measure of greatness is that when you see them live, they somehow manage to be even better than the recordings.

Hello Zack, this is such a great reaction from you on Lucy & Martha Singing "The Prayer " they are just so unbelievable. If you can get a chance to listen to them singing "Pie Jesu " this version from them is just so outstanding just so pure, but TH-cam removed it after only 24hours nobody knows why, it is the beautiful Requiem you will ever hear, maybe a subscriber will be able to send you the link, otherwise another great sister duet of these girls is " Mary Did You Know " this cover is also so great, Take care Barbara.
Hey Zack, great reaction. I listen to all your Lucy reactions and thought I was subscribed but wasn't...fixed that. I don't expect to ever hear a better rendition of this in my lifetime unless, of course, they release the live version from the Manchester concert. I think this surpasses the Celine/Boccelli version in two ways, 1) it's a song "seemingly" from a child's perspective...and they are children. 2) the Celine version just seems like two voices battling each other not complementing each other. Lucy and Martha keep the passion and intensity without overdoing it. I've listened to this hundreds of times and think it is one of the greatest songs of all time.

Martha here was 12 years old !!! She was sitting on a tall stool Lucy, 17, was standing to get into frame. And man to hear those girls sing in a second language and Martha was only 12, she has some guts, and talent and skill to sing with Lucy. Thanks for the up date.
Hi Zack. When I 1st heard them sing this a few years ago, I said this is better than the original. I still think that. Unchained Melody from Lucy alone is my favorite though, which you heard already.

Zach, your reaction was great. I can not listen to Lucy enough and Martha is improving even though she is 5 years younger than Lucy. "run to you " is a nice cover. Lucy looks sad and vulnerable and at the end she speaks about subscribing to her channel with a pretty strong British accent. It is funny how that never shows up in her singing. She is always crystal clear where with most you can pick up a slight accent in certain words.
Lucy is from Wigan North West England,it is not particularly strong unless you live from outside the UK.
@@johncollins392 I do N.Y. USA. I have worked around many young lady's from England when I worked for a riding camp some 10 years ago. I always had trouble understanding many of them. They seem to talk much faster and use phrases we don't. I still love her though.

Fit For A King just dropped another song about a day old. It’s called “Technium.” This band is outstanding. This is one of my fav bands in metalcore. They definitely stick to the original sounds of metalcore. These guys are from Texas. If you don’t mind if you react to this and you can always check other songs out then….thanks!
