Her ability to extend and hold a note, before adding vibrato is second to none. Her vocal clarity has even had reactors asking if she has changed the lyrics, when in reality they are finally hearing the correct words. She never over embellishes songs with vocal gymnastics, like others do (sometimes to disguise their inability to hold a note for more than a couple of seconds), because she has pure talent. To me, this is the one of the best, if not the best, renditions of the song. However, Leonard Cohen's rendition in London 2009 is still my favorite.

IF you have not heard of Lucy Thomas you must be living under a rock !!!!She has been recording for 10 years has about 70 songs recorded and has just shy of a MILLION You Tube subscribers, All of her music is on LUCY THOMAS MUSIC and also ROSIE the MUSICAL in which she will sing the lead when it opens in Londons West Side, There is a recent updated version Lucy sang LIVE at her concert in Manchester UK in March that she sang as the 17th song her encore and she rocked the house with it. Others here have left more info I will not duplicate but thanks for the reaction and i too have never heard of you, Play lucy and her millions of followers will come !! Lucy was 16 when she recorded this, YOU absolutely have to watch her LIVE version when she was 20, and trust US it does get better. also Lucy and Cavendish Records allow the free use of all Lucy's music you do not have to blur the image no copyright claims. just mention her channel as you did !! !
