Eloy = a generational talent! I think not enough people realize how *insane* Eloy's skill level is. I have a feeling that he can play practically anything you throw at him - from extreme metal to latin/fusion jazz. Definitely one of the best drummers I've ever seen.💪💪👏👏
Even as hard as he hits and as precise as he is, he still plays with swing and groove. Maintaining that feel with that amount of power is so ridiculous it’s scary…
I'm a grumpy and melancholic by nature, it is rare to find something to amuse myself with. This man.. this man is pure enjoyment to watch how he decimates those drums. Makes me alleviated in life. Coming here, now and then to rewatch it.
Holy fuckk! Watching him play is incredible. To be able to beat the ever living shit out of his kit with precision, but to have so much feel, flow, and accents on top boggles me. He crushed this track. Haake should be proud.
Its incredible the little details Haake puts into his drum writing. With how loud and destructive everything sounds you can barely hear the hi hat opening and closing but yet there it is so prominently at parts just for that little extra touch!

But This! Man oh man, you were in to it to the Max! Jamming farther at the end, like you don't want it to stop. This was Insane Eloy, holy shit Thank You! my god, my favorite part about this is that your second crash and ride almost never stop moving, you are a beast, and it really gave the song that much more life seeing the drums performed. Amazing cover, wish I could play this, need to practice.

I’ve studied almost every known extreme metal drummer and I think I can say with confidence that Eloy is above them all. Power, precision, and groove…he’s just a beast.
To have this level of consistency without using triggers etc, is the thing that really sets him apart for me. The man's dynamics and tone are just awesome. Not knocking triggers! They're great. But they do kinda allow a drummer to play lighter and still get a big sound. Or "twitch out" fast double bass without requiring the power to produce volume from the drums. The fact that Eloy is all acoustic and gets this consistency in his volume, lack of unintentional flams, and overall finesse/control... It's astounding. I'm so glad he's been out on more people's radar with this whole "will they/won't they" Slipknot thing
