    Those vents at the bottom you called intakes are heater vents the same as your car would have. The intake is through a hepa filter under the hood.

      The intake is both in cab and under hood routed via mixing damper which is in cab. The mixing damper is used for the climate control function. I’ve never had the opportunity to use the climate control in warm weather so its usually closed. This is because the A/C is undersized it can barely keep up with sun out and the heat load on the cab. The roof radiates heat inside. Windows. Wheel wells radiating heat from the radiator cooling fan. 85 degrees and sunny in MN and this unit can’t keep cab comfortable. Center vent temp ranges from 38-50F. HVAC performance of my machine is not acceptable to me. Its a brand new 30 day old limited. I expect the heat in winter to be better tho.

    These things are getting ridiculous, awesome yes but price and all u r better off buying a cheap used jeep

      I’d also be interested to know which mount that is. As an alternative for you, I bought the Nite Ize Steelie dash mount for my defender. Installed it a month ago. So far it’s great
