Great info! I have a question for you. For a brief time, I had some seats out of my Buddy's 92 GT in Frankie. Those seats seemed to sit a couple inches higher than the seats I have in my 89. Just wondering if the 24 vs. 26 inch difference is because of changes made to the seat itself?
Hello! 87-89 had 26" upright sections on the seats with big headrests in the GT. 90-91, they lowered the upright to 24", and put in the small headrests. In 92-93, everything was the same except they removed the pull out leg bolster from the front of the seat. Check the video out at about 4:54 in. Hi BonezShaker! I always went from the inside of the seat with a flat screwdriver to release the clip...I'm so glad I tried this...obviously way easier...
That helps a lot Todd! I removed mine, but I went underneath the rear of the seatback... Wasn't easy and definitely took longer than 20 seconds....LOL
